Lovely comfy room, dog friendly. Plenty of storage in the room. The extensive pie menu is something to behold and portions enormous (doggy bag had the be asked for). Lots of drinks choice and very friendly and welcoming staff.

Lovely stay at this hotel. We had breakfast and dinner here and both were delicious, highly recommend the blue roan pie it's really tasty. Really friendly atmosphere and the beds were super comfy, will definitely stay again

I visited this pub on Sunday with two friends. We were made very welcome and the pies were excellent. The portions were very generous and we didn't need to eat later on! Definitely recommend the Piebald Inn.

I’ve been coming to the Bay, Filey for 10 years and never been to this place. Tonight ten of us went for dinner and what a surprise! Internally it’s a lovely, warm and clean pub (the outside doesn’t do it justice). The pies were fantastic with the staff really attentive. Good selection of beers and a good kids menu.I’ll be going back next time I’m in Filey.

Lovely village pub. Expect a warm welcome and good food. The main problem you will have is deciding which of the 50+ pies you want to try. All the ones I have tried were delicious. Maybe a little expensive but good quality.

What a find, we're a large family of 11 from Manchester staying in the area of Filey, and The Piebald came highly recommended and it more lived upto expectations. The pies were superb the staff were fantastic and we had a really great evening. If you arrive here hungry and think you can eat a horse, chose the pit pony it's massive😘Thanks and well done 👏

Very friendly staff, the pies were full of flavours. The mashed potatoe was a bit bitty for my liking and my boyfriend wasn't really satisfied with the chips as they tasted like precooked although I found them nice myself. The portions are very generous so go with empty stomach!

I have been here b4 and had a great experience so I thought I would come back 2 weeks later for another great experience but this time the experience was not so good. I paid £30 in a taxi with my very old dog to get here at 2.30pm for a meal and some drinks. only to be told that I will have to leave one hour after finishing my meal because they need the table and my dog was not welcome any where else in the pub although the pub describes its self of being dog friendly and 2 weeks ago I was able to sit anywhere I wanted. Let me put this into context. I spent over £65 on food and drinks and £60 on taxis. The landlord John sits at the bar with his dog but no one else can. Would you feel like you have just had a kick in the balls. I raised the issue with the bar staff and highlighted that I will be wanting to speak to the landlord before I leave then sat down to finish my drink. 2 minutes later a bar tender came over to my table and told me that they have had a cancellation. Is this because they don't want me showing them up before I leave. I do wonder. One more thing if you go on Google it states that the pub is open till 10pm so I had a taxi precooked for 9.30pm. Maybe the pub would like to update there states so us the customer does not feel well and truly misled. This complaint is not about the chiefs and food. It is entirely about the attitude of the powers of be. So if you are thinking about coming here please bear in mind that you may also have to experience this problem.

It was cosily warm!!! So many venues are freezing these days! COAL/LOG fire - can't beat it!Big chalk board as you enter to browse the pies available and what fantastic choices! We didn't order food on this occasion but we saw plenty being delivered around us and oh my gosh they looked out of this world! Really filling portion sizes too! You won't be hungry!BIG CAR PARKNot the cheapest initial price you might think...UNTIL YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET! a real bargain!

Huge selection of pies that came in large portion sizes, so we definitely didn't leave hungry, and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Decent kids menu and other options available if you don't like pies (does anyone not like pies?). The service was friendly and the prices, whilst certainly not cheap, were not excessive and reflected the quality and quantity of the food that we had.
