Visited last week and I can honestly say that the food was absolutely dreadful. It can't even be called food.Beef madras was shocking with extremely hard and very dry beef. I struggled to chew it. It was definitely pre cut squares of frozen, over cooked beef and the poppadom was swimming in oil.My husbands burger was the worst we have ever, in our lives, tasted or seen. It was so over cooked and dry that it curled up. It wasn't edible. My 6 year old could not eat his fish fingers as they had been deep fried for so long that they were rock solid. We were so disappointed when we left.If we could give this place zero stars, we would. We will never return again or recommend it.Absolutely shocking!!

Wonderful family friendly pub. Great food, lovely staff, clean toilets and great outdoor space with plenty for the kids to play on.

I would of given more stars but the carvery was shocking the mash was lumpy water without flavour, there was barely any veg to choose from the roast potatoes had been over cooked the stuffing we was told they had none as the chef was still trying to perfect it!!! i must admit the child's sausage chips and bean was probably the best meal......didn't visit play area upstairs but the toilets in the middle was certainly in need of a refurbishment. The staff was friendly enough, so would certainly give them a star for that. The outside play park for little one was nice and had a fair bit to keep a 5 year old happy. Family friendly, which again got them another star.

Very very lovely staff - everyone was so welcoming and polite to us. We sat in the conservatory which is where they allow dogs - so nice that they are dog friendly! My constructive feedback would be maybe to have trays to rest the plates on when doing more than 1 dinner (my partner stayed with the dog and I done both our plates on the carvery - although I never asked for a tray so they were probably available if I did ask) and if it would be possible to have the radio/playlist on in the conservatory that would make it loads nicer as we felt a bit exposed like we were chomping on our dinner when some others were just enjoying a pint with their dog it was just a bit awkward silence. Will be back soon though! Thanks

Went to soft play with 5 & 2 yr old. They had a great time. Then went downstairs for carvery meal. All veggies etc fresh and meat tasty. Good value for money. Chef very accommodating. Happy to make sausages for childs car carvery. Staff kind and to helpful. Will go again. Thank you

Been here today 25/2/22 Best carvery we’ve ever had! Very friendly staff and a fantastic head chef Mark who also serves the amazing carvery. I don’t know about 5 stars I’d give this place 10 if I could!! The play area upstairs is also absolutely brilliant for all ages. We’re actually from Bradford and this is the only place we’ll be going when we visit the in laws it honestly can’t be beaten. Prices are spot on aswell, just an all round brilliant place for families.

We walked in and there wasn't any staff to be seen to greet us to one of the many empty tables. There was a chef walking around acting as the "waiter" on hes phone one minute, off the next. The menu was pricey for what it was, anyways we got up and walked out. DO NOT visit and waste your time and try to bloody cook the food yourself.

We popped in just by chance after getting soaked from a walk. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, superb food & value for money. If you have a dog stop off for a bite to eat you wont regret it and your dog will be spoilt rotten. This will be our go to place when in the area with our dog Molly enjoying the beaches.

Took our little boy here to play today and then had lunch downstairs afterwards. The food was great, big portion sizes and the staff were very welcoming. We would definitely visit again.
