The Waterfront Cafe in Scarborough

My wife and myself stayed in the apartment above the cafe for four nights and really enjoyed it. The owners of the apartment,who also own the cafe below, were very nice and friendly. They are a young couple who were in the process of doing up the cafe but always had time to chat and serve the customers. It was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Limited choice of drinks , no food available . Staff did their best . Pouring of beer left a lot to be desired . Saw lady sticking her fingers in pulled pints( think She was trying to reduce froth on head , but not hygienic in my opinion).Prices were a tad inflated also , but nice place to sit on a sunny afternoon

Decent place on the seafront for a drink and to people watch.Drinks a bit pricey but hey-ho.Toilets fairly clean and the staff girls are polite and do a very good job making sure people are seated and served quickly,considering the current ridiculous guidelines.

Friendly staff and fair prices considering the location and view.

Went there yesterday and had hot chocolate and my husband had an Americano they where lovely and hot. Staff swift and friendly. Would recommend this place if you're in Scarborough

A great Latte that I enjoyed while taking in the scenery around me. The staff serving were very polite and helpful in giving directions to my next destination, which hastens me to buy one of their cakes for on the way. I couldn't have found a better watering hole to stop off and enjoy a drink and snack. Beautiful location and friendly people.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. Staff could not be more rude. The place was empty (unsurprisingly) and I asked to use their toilet, the member of staff was extremely rude and would not allow me to use the toilet prior to buying the drink that I was planning to drink. Bear in mind I am 33 weeks pregnant.... these people will be closed down by the end of the year if they treat all their customers like this. And it would not be a loss.

Not very much choice on the coffee front but lots to see sitting out the front over looking the harbour bay.
