Tricolos in Scarborough

Had to wait a while for the drinks and when they came the Northern IPA was mediocre to say the least.Also had wait for the food but this was due to a rowdy and rude party behind. When the food did come it was like the drinks mediocre and didn't reflect the true Italian cuisine.Will take a lot of persuading to visit again.not reflect

Food was decent. Service was a bit slow and didn't seem to be anyone running the show. Would go again for a quick tea and out, but not for q special occasion

Very similar experience to another reviewer. Visited during half term. It felt as though they had just over booked or understaffed. Pizzas were nice but my pasta main was underwhelming. Second round of drinks arrived after we had finished our meal. 4/5 tables around us were unhappy. The staff were run off their feet so this is not a criticism of them. I felt sorry for them. The owners need to sort this recurring problem out or they will lose business.***edit....so after reading other reviews this is definitely a recurring theme. Understaffed and can't cope when it's busy.

Bland Food & Lacked AtmosphereWhen asking for a margarita pizza with additional toppings one doesn't usually expect the waiter to disagree with you and suggest you choose the mushroom pizza on the menu that had ham on it....especially when you are a vegetarian. However this incident sums up the restaurant. Dated ideals, limited vegetarian choices, bland food and old fashioned decor. Tricolos needs to take notice of their competition and readdress their ethos to better represent today's customer expectations.

We visited this pace and enjoyed it that much booked for the following evening.They where fully booked but squeezed us in staff amazing food amazing. The service was second to none. If you want quality then you accept a wait. We did not mind our small waiting time as the place had so much atmosphere. It’s quality that counts for me if you want fast food go to a fast food restaurant. In my opinion you guys have nailed it. I will be returning.RegardsSimon and Marius see you soon. X

10/10 food was amazing the garlic bread gives florios a run for its money tasted delicious. All mains pizza pasta and burgers tasted gorgeous all hot all full of flavour. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough. It was my little boys birthday they brought the cake out sang happy birthday nothing was too much bother.. cannot wait to go back again. To anyone who hasn't been for years like us go back give it a try you won't regret it ❤🤤

Visited during half term. Food was really good but it felt as though they had just over booked or understaffed as we had to wait a long while for drinks and just felt a bit like we were an inconvenience which isn't how you want to feel when you are a paying customer.

Lovely location and amazing food. Coke was served flat, from a bottle and cost £3.85.

Fantastic food and Service, Great decoration to complete a perfect meal.

Good food and friendly staff though very busy at night but great food & good value. We had very fantastic dinner.
