Wackers in Scarborough

Was really worried to see the front had changed to a takeaway but it's still the same Wackers we all know and love inside! Usual excellent service, food and prices! Would definitely recommend!

Been going here for over 30 years, always a great experience. Brilliant value for money, especially if you have kids and take advantage of the kids eat free deal!

Had a fish and chip lunch at this beautiful place whilst on holiday in Scarborough. Been having take out for years but decided to dine in on this occasion. The seating was great, with plenty of room for my Granddaughter's double pram. The service was impeccable, with a guy going out of his way to make our stay a pleasure. Best fish and chips in Scarborough.

On our way to the Scarborough Spa, we decided to stop off for Fish and chips. Don't be deceived by the shop front, inside, the restaurant behind, has seating for at least 100 people. There is also a takeaway shop on entry. Service is swift, the menu varied, and the beautifully cooked food is well presented. Prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of staff milling around keeping the place clean. Lovely fish and chips. Thank you.

Not been to wackers for 4 or 5 years. Was really impressed with the layout and the fish and chips were lovely. Will definitely be going again.

We had the lunchtime haddock,chips,bread and butter,tea and coffee plus one portion of mushy peas. Excellent value and staff very pleasant.

Very smart clean and tidy restaurant with plenty of seating. Had the cod and chips which was nice. Only criticism was the wait we had for our food, surprisingly strange since they were not very busy.

Nice large clean restaurant. Order at the counter choose a seating order get your tea and bread and butter etc then go sit down and wait for order to come to your table. We had a wait of 25mins which we thought was a long time but when it arrived it was lovely. It was worth the wait. The staff were friendly and helped in any way you wanted.We would recommend it.

Choose a seating place then queue up and place your order. Collect tea bread and butter etc. then go sit in your area and wait. We waited 25 mins for ours which we thought was quite a long time but when they did arrive they were well worth the wait. The place was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. We would recommend this to others to try.
