great selection of hard to find produce

Fantastic place with top quality products... but the website let's the company down. I don't live near enough to pop in to buy their products and the website has no search bar or clear options when trying to buy things. I wanted to buy some chutneys but will have to wait until I'm back over in summer. Fantastic place though so definitely visit! 10/10

The food is amazing! No words can describe the sensational experience you will get from this place.Having booked The Whitby Deli to cater for a private event in Whitby in the summer, I can honestly tell you this place is not to be missed. The staff are super friendly. the food is delicious and just take a look at the insane grazing table they created.A little gem of a place that is owned and run by the most incredible lady.

Great shop, even better staff which helped me send a parcel to my staff while I was away on holiday over the summer, Thank you again!!

We ordered 2 ploughman boxes to takeaway with 2 lattes. No pork pie available so replaced with sausage roll (which was nice.) But the lettuce was iceberg (the cheapest lettuce), LOTS of cucumber (hubby hates cucumber) and 1 thin slice of pepper. We were asked where we was eating the lunch so we were given a wooden folk. The cheese was in a large block and far to hard to pull away with the folk. The lattes were ok but the shop assistant had trouble with the coffee lids but did say they were fastened on ok. Nope I ended with my top completely spoiled for the rest of my day out.The salad would have been better with a tomatoe and spring onion. The food we ate was fresh but not worth £21.We ate in this shop awhile ago and loved it hence our return. But we shall not be returning again.

Bought two children's lunch boxes but the humus was not suitable for children as it was too garlicky and spicy. Neither of children who normally love humus were prepared to eat it.

First time and definitely last time visiting this restaurant, ordered a full breakfast, all burned, quite disappointed. Staff very friendly, atmosphere was lovely.

Walked in (to be honest to get out of the rain) ordered sausage rolls and coffees. They asked if we wanted the rolls warm and with chutney.. hell yes please. When they came they were honestly one of the nicest sausage rolls I've ever eaten and the chutney was so good we bought a whole jar to take home with us on the way out. Cheers guys. 😁

We have been customers to The Deli for the last 5 years and never has it disappointed, until recently. I have no problem with a mum breastfeeding their baby in public provided it is done discretely, however the owner, recent mum, regularly sits in full view of customers therefore getting an eyeful is an understatement. I’m afraid we have stopped being regulars because we frankly feel uncomfortable being in the presence of “feeding time” without covering up. Despite the exceptional selection of foods, and high quality food and drink they serve. We feel “we don’t know where to look”. In addition we enjoy going for peace and quiet, to cafes, however the music is quite loud preventing us from enjoying the peace.
