Great northern soul weekender. Booze at great price for whitby.

Lovely club with friendly people. Very welcoming when I was visiting for a week, let me go out for a paddle with some of their experienced rowers. One of the highlights of my week in Whitby.

Very good rowing and social club, very good bar and friendly people, lovely views across the harbour and Whitby great place.

You can always get a seat, lovely views from the outside seating area

Awesome harbour views and nice little patio / smoking area out of the way of the street and crowds which overlooks the harbour. Always make a point a calling in for a few when I'm in Whitby

Cheap beer...good quality and readily available annual membership required. They welcome tourists and a core of local regulars. A essential visit for us every time we are in Whitby.

Found this place out of the way. Sadly the staff behind the bar let it down. Rude and lacking manners. Specifically the Liverpool fan from Newcastle, could do to take some happy pills.

We enjoyed an evening with friends here, very good company reasonably priced drinks and friendly helpful staff who phoned for a taxi for us.

Seems like a real 'local' but still friendly to visitors good prices. .......a great view from the beer garden.

A great find on a crowded sunny day in Whitby. Slipped down a thin alleyway and had a nice Guinness in their outside patio whilst the boats went by.
