Turned up after booking with no table free / ready. 15 min wait. Wrong drinks arrived. Starters took over 40 minutes. Mains were almost as slow. Overall what we thought was going to be a 1.5 hour max meal was well over 2 hours. They also tried to charge us £13 too much. Food was good, but not good enough to compensate for the issues nor was any money offer or even a free drink offered.Food 8/10. Service 5/10.

The staff are extremely welcoming & friendly, very keen to make sure you have the best experience possible.I had a chicken vindaloo & it was the best I've ever tasted, chicken was cooked to perfection! Both children & the Mrs really enjoyed their food too. Highly recommend visiting if you haven't already, you won't regret it! Will be back again very soon.

Disappointed. Not ordered from 7 spices for a while and found the masala fish lacking any flavour, batter thick and rubbery. Fenugreek chicken was swimming in ghee and had no flavour and £3.55 for a garlic Nan that is as large as medium plate is overpriced and was definitely over rated. Unlikely to order from here again which is a shame

Ive been here several times. Ive eaten in many stages of intoxication. From stone cold sober to fully kettled. Each time is has been good. Would reccomend highly.

I have been coming here on and off for over 10 years. I ate there yesterday with 7 others. We arrived unbooked at about 11pm. We were seated without fuss and quickly provided with drinks whilst we looked at the menus. The place itself is great. There is plenty of room even when it's busy. It has character which is often lacking these days. The staff are friendly and efficient. They had the normal Cobra on draught and also a draught beer which was a nice surprise for our real ale fans. The waiter didn't try to force several poppadoms on us which just fill you up, but simply suggested just one each, which I think is perfect. We shared various nam breads and rice and between us ordered the full spectrum of dishes. Every one was pleased with their dishes. We never felt rushed and the staff were always on hand to help. The concensus from everyone was, that we can't wait for our next visit.

Would benefit from a more descriptive menu or maybe add pictures but otherwise a nice place. The food and surroundings was to a good standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Absolutely fabulous evening at 7 spices for our work Christmas outing . Great food and hospitality, nothing was too much trouble, everyone enjoyed their meals. Would strongly recommend 7 spices for any occasion from a romantic meal for 2 up to a large party.

I've been getting takeaways from 7 spices for many years and always been happy. However this time I did not receive either of the dishes I wanted. The first dish they said wasn't available and the second dish was not what I wanted. We were told we must have clicked the wrong button and ordered the wrong dish by accident. Fine, but when we checked, the dish we received looks nothing like the photo on just eat and there was no description next to the dish about what it contains so it is very confusing. The dish we received also contained boiled egg which it does not say on the menu. This is very dangerous considering people could be allergic or don't eat egg. Unfortunately because of this experience I will not use 7 spices again.

Won't be going back here again!! Four people went on Saturday 23 October and all our meals were so salty!! We complained to the Manager who tasted one and commented 'tastes OK to me'. Unbelievable! He did knock a little off the bill but little to say we'd spent over £75. We also had 2 Gin and tonics minus the Gin!!! Spoke to other people on the table next to us who weren't impressed either! Very disappointing place to say the least. I would give this place a miss plenty of other good restaurants around here who really want your custom.
