Excellent place for Indian Food, very balanced food, high quality, adequote quantity, very affordable price and value to the money. I visited this place with my family, and the customer service was very excellent. Huge restaurants with ample sitting spaces as per your choice. Everyone should visit this restaurant in Sheffield. Keep working, good guys. All the very best.

I came here a few weeks ago and having already been to the Rotherham and Bradford branches i was expecting it to be good which unsurprisingly was the case. I ordered the king prawn tikka and chicken nimbari for my starter dishes which both tasted very nice. For the main dish i ordered the lamb shank curry and garlic nan which was excellent and a great value for the money.

Food very good ,staff on the ball. The place well run. The design is good partitions down one side which can be moved, giving the customers a bit of privacy

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff and service. Had chicken Nambali for starter...some of the chicken in the middle was raw...should have mentioned it but felt bad for them because everything else was perfect. Mocktails are lovely

Very Nice food ,But I think most waiters are too much stressed (RUDE) as they are always busy, boss need to work on their attitude and maybe hire more as workload is too much for them , might be causing the problem , girl on main counter was busy on her phone ignoring what ever happening in surrounding ,she doesnt look interested in her job at all may be she got that job as she was someone's daughter or friend or family member, floor was not very clean under the tables ,

My unfortunate experience at Akbar's..Greeted at the door and taken into a dark dungeon. Indian food place with French music rusty and dirty chairs(picture attached). Rude waiters .. except the guy who brought the mains, lovely chap with a sweet smile!Starters we ordered were 2 lamb chops(burnt sides, raw mid, rubbery) and chapli kebab(felt like flour pancakes).. while we were having the starters, one of the waiters came with a broom and started cleaning under our table(never experienced that before)Then came the mains ! Served nicely, nice Lamb karahi, concerning butter chicken and lovely naan !!Bill with mistake took some time and walking to get sorted.. got up from the chair and my jeans was actually sticking to the chair..All in all a very uncomfortable first and last experience..

A lovely meal!I had a great first experience at Akbar’s. I read some reviews saying the staff are not friendly but the staff that had attended me and my friends were very friendly. One of the staff noticed the table was not stable so they fixed the issue immediately, this was without any of me and my friends mentioning anything of it.The food arrived in decent time and tasted good. My friend rated the family naan highly the last time she tried it and it did not disappoint! I could eat one for myself!I think for me, as a student, the prices are a bit on the pricey side. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner.Overall, I enjoyed my first experience and would come back again.

Great Tasty Food! The food was amazing! Its best to remember to book in advanced (especially on weekend) as it is very popular. My only concern is the drinks are over priced... it is very very filling so think about sharing it with another person! Cuts down on the costs too 😉i would definitely recommend coming here 😋
