Amigos Mexican Kitchen in Sheffield

Fantastic food! Loved the variety of vegan options, staff were very attentive, portions were super generous as well. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Eaten here quite a few times before and it's always been great. Sadly this time was a fiasco.When I said I'd booked a tabled they made no attempted to check and just frantically looked for a free table. It took about 15 mins for our order to be taken and another 15 for the drinks to arrive. 45 mins after that the food still had not arrived so we got up and left, letting them know on our way out.We would have been more inclined to wait had the environment been more pleasant. The neighbouring table was about 3 inches from ours, at which they had seated 5 people at a table for 4. It was honestly like sitting in a crèche for an hour and 15 mins. Absolute screaming chaos.I understand it was a busy Saturday night but if you cannot deal with the quantity of covers you have, do not continue accepting walk-ins.

Food was nice .staff friendly .restaurant clean good atmosphere only downside was they brought all our mains out while we were still having starters 4 adults n 2 children and just put them on table so most of us didn't eat our main meal

The food is excellent, generous portions and great prices. Absolutely Delicious!! Had a wonderful time. Their chef's special popular dishes are must try. Beautiful ambience and must visit restaurant :)

Excellent, went there with large group in December.The food and service were excellent and the staff very attentive.The portions were large and everyone was well catered for, including the vegans and those with allergies. I'll definitely be going back.

Overall experience with Amigos on this occasion wasn't up to the standard at all. This was also echoed by my partner who also ate with me. Firstly in a Mexican themed place if you order tacos, you expect the tacos to be made for you based on the items you ordered, but it was baffling to see that we were given the ingredients to make our own tacos for £14.95 that just doesn't make sense?! I mean how am I supposed to know what works well as a combination and felt like a time waste constructing the tacos..the positive from those Taco items was the Shrimp which had really good flavour and texture.In addition other food items ordered were the Amigos Mixed items which was also £14.95, it was just average at best. Taste was missing, wings weren't succulent felt overcooked and Nachos was alright.Customer service was great and hospitality was a positive.

The first time I went to Amigos many years ago the food was much more authentic and great tasting Mexican food. This time round wasn't as great but still quite tasty and palatable.The lamb and potatoe grattan was nice but far too much chilli, found it quite hard to eat at some point and off putting but managed to get through it. The starters weren't too bad and decent portions.Friendly and helpful staff

Excellent food and friendly service. Great atmosphere and not expensive.
