10/10, fantastic food!Amazing veggie options, so much flavour and texture. Not your average Indian restaurant, would come back for any family occasion as we had such a warm welcome. Proper homely restaurant!

The food was good, but when i looked but when i looked at my card statement it was for £45. I asked the man to charge my card £35. Beep beep swipe, the man typed into the machine, didn't show me the display, i swiped. Bang £45 gone. I'm not accusing the restaurant of fowl play, but its possible.

Had a family meal here and I have to say it was the best curry I've had! The staff are friendly and there is a good selection on the menu. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely superb. There were personal highlights but every dish was spot on. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great. It was full on Thursday night. Amazing experience, I will be making it a regular haunt on my visits to Sheffield. Well done to everyone behind the scenes who made this gem possible.

Wow, this place doesn't put a foot wrong. Everything was utterly delicious and the service was excellent. So nice to go somewhere with such a good vegetarian selection. Will definitely be going back...

It's hard to find a place where the service matches up impeccably with the food - but this is it. REYT GOOD CURREH, we get it now! Everything we ordered from the Taxi Driver curry to the Tandoori chicken (whole) was delicious and well flavoured, even the butter naan was too moorish we had to order more. You forget how important it is to feel special when you're dining out at a restaurant, but Ashoka nails it without trying. For VERY reasonable prices too (so tip hard).Deffo gonna have to come back again to sample the rest of the menu.

We came to have dinner and it was really good. It is a small cute restaurant, very confortable. The food was tasty and we enjoy it a lot, but the best thing was definitely the service. Very friendly and attentive, very very happy with the restaurant and the staff.

Lovey place to eat amazing service gave kids free drinks (mango lassi)on house and other goodies

Small, yet delightful, the Ashoka is tucked in amongst larger chain restaurants, but packs big flavours!! The menu, ambiance and clean decor is a mix of modern and old colloquial India. The dishes are thoughtfully named, reticent and a homage to a bustling India of old like the Taxi driver curry! The staff and service are excellent. Only draw back was there was no desserts menu hence a 4 start rating. Definitely worth a visit!!

This was the busiest Indian restaurant in Ecclesall Road. Nice selection of curries and bread. It ticks the box as a good British curry house. Very good service and friendly waiters - one a part time student from The University of Sheffield so it was useful chatting to him.
