Bill's in Sheffield

The food was absolutely delicious, the starters i had dumplings and they were absolutely supreme, had the halloumi fries and they were cooked to perfection. Had the steak and eggs the steak was a bit overcooked for me (asked for medium rare) but i can get over that. For sure will be returning. Thank you for a lovely experience! 👍

Had an early dinner here as it was near the hotel where we were staying. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, décor is great. Service was attentive and friendly and the varied menu has something for everyone (we ordered curry, a burger and a salad) and the presentation of the food was good. One constructive suggestion: the salad was good, but I could see the salad leaves had not been washed before serving. This is a basic hygeine measure, but also refreshes the leaves and improves the texture and taste. Washing the salad leaves would have moved the dish from good to excellent. All round, though, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Ordered my steak blue and it actually came blue. Cooked perfectly. Very impressed as most places overdo it. Relaxed but bustling atmosphere, staff were polite and attentive. For a chain I am always left very satisfied with Bill's. Definitely recommend.

An unusually poor experience at Bill's Sheffield on 28/12/2021 around 5pm I'm afraid. Although I'd never eaten at this particular one, I have had many meals at Bill's in Nottingham and various one's in London - all excellent so had no reason to believe this would be any different, therefore recommended my friends come with me. Service was slow - took ages for the food to come out and when it did my friend's chicken skewers were tasteless and dry, and my other friend's steak was rare even though he asked for medium-well done. What's more, not one member of staff came to check on our meal. My mac and cheese with fries was nice to be fair - although you can't really get that wrong. My friend's left most of their meal. We expressed our discontent with the whole experience and the manager did come over and graciously wiped the bill - including the wine - that's the only reason for 2 stars. Would I go again to this branch? Actually yes as although they messed up on this occasion, they also did the right thing to rectify it - and Bill's is normally very good. I will say we very rarely complain, but were left with no option on this. Not a good experience but will give them the benefit of the doubt they had an 'off day' and the manager was apologetic and did what he could at the end of the meal.

Visited here for a birthday. Assistant Manager was very attentative and provided a good customer service when serving. It wasn't very busy, however the service from the waitress was not great. When asked questions about the menu, she wasn't sure and had to check. Drinks not delivered and therefore had a little wait. Plates were left for 20 mins after eating. Asked for a cheese board...informed that they only have this at Christmas. Would be good to offer this, as not all customers want a sweet after a meal!

Lovely restuarant. Delicious food. Great for friends and families. Would definitely visit again! I've put 4 stars because the service charge is quite high!

We met a Bill's for lunch during a visit with my son and his partner. As a family, we have different tastes and requirements in relation to food, thankfully Bill's had something for all of us! The food tasted great, it was well presented and the service was excellent. We were especially impressed by the no-nonsense approach to ensuring that my dad's choice was adapted to meet his specific food requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend Bill's 😀

Arrived for lunch without a booking, made room for 6 of us. Had both vegan and vegetarian choices, we all ordered burgers, which were very nice. Had olives and garlic bread, this was a little bit 2 oily though. Good service, pretty quick.

Staff were very warm and welcoming during a busy lunchtime service. The drinks arrived promptly and the freshly squeezed juices tasted amazing! We ordered the chicken skewers and superfood bowl, the avocado tasted like some vacuum pac concoction & the grilled flatbread was just a golden warm tortilla, however both were delicious and filled the gap.Been to Bills in Birmingham and I would say the staff at the Sheffield branch were much friendlier, but the location in Birmingham more aptly spaced.

Lovely place. Friendly service. We were asked if we wanted to sit indoors or outdoors, It was nice weather so we sat outdoors. There's hand sanitiser on each table. There's also free wifi. We both went for a chicken burger, which was very good.
