Caffe Nero - Sheffield, St Pauls in Sheffield

Not too loud, not too busy, nice outlook over the fountains - but every time I've bought coffee from here it's been dreadfully bitter!

Exactly What you expect from a Caffè Nero, some good friendly staff members. Minus one star for not having separate smoking and non-smoking areas outside. The location is very good for people watching, having a nice view of the Peace Gardens, water fountain and Town Hall. Go upstairs for an even better view. The café has plenty of indoor seating with toilets, both upstairs and downstairs. There are high chairs for children. There is no lift access to the upper floor.

nice atmosphere and seating and the carrot cake was nice but unfortunately the staff were very apathetic and stand off ish. would have given five stars if they were nicer

The usual range of coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The wifi is good and there are plenty of seats, with outside seating in the summer.

Dirty and sticky tables, felt untidy, chairs all over the place. Shame seeing it’s such a good location. The management really needs to step up and start having daily cleaning shifts organised.

The location is very good. Sitting outside is nice but the problem when you sit inside. The place is really smelly. I have visited this coffee more than once in different times of the month and still the seats have a bad smells specially those who close to walls with electricity sockets. Little cleaning and air refreshments are not a big issue.

The place could have done with a bit of a clean. There weren’t that many customers, yet there were crumbs on tables which needed a wipe. The staff weren’t very friendly either - it costs nothing to smile. The coffee and food was pretty ordinary, not worth the price that was charged.

Tasty food and drinks, but felt a tad expensive. Overall, solid experienceWent there for lunch and coffee, I find their espresso the best compared to other chains.The panini was very tasty and hot from the press. The Italian peach smoothie gorgeous and sweet.Covid restrictions are sensible and it felt fine to step into the shop.Will go again.

Located next to peace gardens Caffè Nero has a great area for sitting outside on a warm day. Only giving the chain four stars as there are plenty of independent shops that offer a wider selection of food and drinks. Nero has great customer service and is one of the better chains for coffee.

Stopped off for an early morning coffee. Nice and quiet, quick and friendly service and comfortable seating. Didn't feel rushed.
