Candytown Chinese Restaurant in Sheffield

So far so good. No harm to try if you are living near here. Shumai & Minced beef in steam rice rolls both doesn’t taste well. Egg tart is delicious. Reasonable price.

Visited with my partner for my birthday, which also happened to be Chinese new year! There was a moderate crowd of happy diners, but plenty of space for us. Our main meals were absolutely delicious and a good value. However, we cannot recommend the wontons. They were a bit overpriced for what we received. Still a great experience, would recommend and return in the future!

Absolutely disgusting set meal was asgard as it gets and only eaten half. No meat on any meals steak was full of fat cudnt even have a bite. I can honeslty say avoid this place at all costs left a restaurant 60 pound down hungry

Reasonable price, great for groups opens late which is good. The sauce on the crispy shredded beef tasted cheap though :( besides that all was well

Went last night, staff was very friendly and the restaurant is lovely and clean.We had duck, chips, shredded chicken in bbq sauce, rice, Prawn toast and spring rolls. It was to die for, all of it was beautiful and piping hot. Portions sizes are great and we couldn't eat it all due to being full, but they offer to put it in takeaway containers for you to take the rest home.I will definitely be back and I'd recommend this place to anyone

Finally there is a chinese restaurant that do taro puff daily. Fresh dim sums and chinese roast are as good as what you can get in hong kong. Tasty and good atmosphere made me think i was in HK for a sec. I wish I live in sheffield..

Our favourite Chinese restaurant in Sheffield especially for evening meals. Prices are reasonable and all the dishes we have tried so far have been very good.

Came in at 3pm for a lunchtime eating experience. I bought the 3 set course for £10.95. very good price for the food that I received. Alongside the starters, I ordered the chicken & sweetcorn soup and for the main I ordered the beef with black bean sauce alongside some chips. The soup was very gloopy and heart warming, giving it some cooling time allowed the soup to goto liquid form. The starters were delicious, giving a variety of finger foods to snack on including prawn cakes, spring rolls and chicken skewers. The main also had great taste, however the chips were slightly raw in the middle. A brief chat with the waiter and waitress led to a swift replacement. Food was overall very good and total cost was £30.40 (£21.00 for 2 set meals £6 for X2 j2O and £3 for a coke)

This is an authentic Chinese food gem in Sheffield. We were a table of 9 and we were lucky enough to try a range different dishes here. Every dishes we ordered was extremely flavourful and fresh. One of our favourite was steamed whole fish :) Very good value for money (Also helped having the Eat Out Help Out scheme). Even after a week, we're still talking about this meal :D Highly recommend
