Fantastic afternoon for our party of 14. The food was amazing, particularly the sunday dinners. Service was exceptional by Ellie and Jamie. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. Thank you for making my mum and dad's anniversary extra special. We will definitely be returning to the castle inn.

Went for food with my mummy friends we had such a lovely time the staff were fantastic as was the food,, one of my friends did comment that her gorganzola risotto was not as described as it was like a curry risotto but she did say it was still very tasty. Cocktails were OK not the best I've had but still very drinkable and good value for moneyWill definitely be back

Great family meal for 17 of us, for our daughter's 21st birthday. Food was fantastic and reasonably priced, staff really attentive and a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back soon. Thanks for having us.

Lovely little pub. We sat outside as there was loads of space but plenty of room inside. Not much to excite on the bar but service was friendly and welcoming

Visited with a family member when we were on holiday in Sheffield and were really impressed with the choice and quality of the food. Waited a while to get our food but it was v busy being a Sat night and we weren't in a rush anyway. Prices can be a bit expensive depending on what you choose but the portions and quality make it worthwhile. I recommend the rotisserie chicken and the fish and chips-lovely beer battered cod!

Great food and plenty of outdoor seating with tables over half of the car park. They apologised for waiting times and being understaffed but we didn’t perceive any problems and we enjoyed our meal. Looking forward to going back soon.

Nice pub that's popular with locals and serves decent food.Visited for dinner with family. Specials menu has so many great options it was hard to choose, including Moroccan lamb shank; Monkfish and mussels in Thai green curry sauce; Greek platter; Seafood linguini; Ribs with mac n cheese...Friendly service, though on a Saturday night the food was a little slow to arrive but no complaint, we enjoyed the evening.

Brilliant food and drink in a great atmosphere, staff are friendly and welcoming, reasonable prices and nice touches with blankets and heaters with customers currently having to dine outside. Would definitely recommend and will be going again 👍
