Lovely food & service, as always. Be careful not to over order. The portions are big! All fresh & home made. The kitchens are open, so you can see what's happening.

Great staff, very attentive, fitted us in for a table of 2 when it was pretty busy! We had the Rotisserie chicken which was wonderful, very filling and tasty! A really nice visit.The only thing that let it down was the Devil Mayo just seemed to be a strange mix of curry powder and mayonnaise, with a name like that, you'd expect a bit of spice!

When for afternoon lunch with my wife and son. Lamb shank was outstanding, as was the monk fish and steak.My son had a nice chat about football with an ex footballer who was in there with his wife, lovely down to earth couple.Great food, great service and not far from home. Definitely going back and Definitely recommend.

Went with the girlfriend for Monday burger night, absolutely amazing we were both blown away how nice they were.

Excellent food and friendly staff. One of our party, an elderly lady collapsed and an ambiance had to be called. Hayley was absolutely brilliant and took very good care of her.Top marks for your caring staff. Our friend is back home now and resting. Thank you all very much

Came for mothers day and it was great value for money. Also great selection of drinks. Two disappointmentsToo much gravy with roast belly of pork. May I suggest this is served in a jug so each person can pore according to tasteRotisserie Chicken was a bit dry.

Amazing flatbreads and delicious puddings. Very reasonable priced. Staff got the balance perfectly right of being friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had a wonderful evening there. Will be back soon.

Fantastic afternoon for our party of 14. The food was amazing, particularly the sunday dinners. Service was exceptional by Ellie and Jamie. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. Thank you for making my mum and dad's anniversary extra special. We will definitely be returning to the castle inn.

Lovely little pub. We sat outside as there was loads of space but plenty of room inside. Not much to excite on the bar but service was friendly and welcoming
