Visited Chequers last week with my mate and came away very, very happy. The staff were very welcoming and displayed fantastic customer service with a waiter providing the gluten free menu very quickly after i asked him to do so. The food was brilliant and the pub was very clean. Can’t wait to visit again.

We pretty much eat here once a week while our daughter goes to gymnastics. The food is great for the price, staff are lovely and there is a good atmosphere. They have a gluten free menu in the Green King app if you need one like I do.

Polite and helpful staff. Food good value. Disabled parking spaces, tables, chairs and ash trays available outside. I liked the clean disabled toilet, however the basin was soiled which I reported to staff. I have excessive toilet needs at times and visited the toilet twice after reporting it. It wasn't cleaned, which I found disappointing. It wasn't busy and I felt they didn't careless about cleaning it. So they have lost a star for this.
