Chinatown Restaurant in Sheffield

This is a great Chinese takeaway. Please don't be put off by fake reviews. This is one of our favourite places to order from.

Was worst chinese I've had, like it's all been put through a microwave. Not one for writing reviews but this was that bad. I ordered all meat curry, egg fried rice and S&P chips and it was all rubbery and most of chips was either soggy or like rubber. Rice tasted like one of them uncle Ben's packs straight outta microwave. £15 and I only picked through chips and binned rest. Will never order from here ever again

Really enjoyed my beef chow mein but the others said their meals were a bit too greasy.

My wife and I use China Town takeaway (home delivery) service about once a month and have done so now for about 4-5 years +. We've just occasionally tried a different one just for a change but always go back to China Town. Always great food, king prawns partic fab, and order is always properly fulfilled and on time ( we usually don't ask for it being delivered before 9.45/ 10pm usually on a Friday night) and always excellent.

So underrated!! Turned up and was a little apprehensive however the food was incredible, the service was fantastic and the price was great!!! I will deffintaly be making this place my new Chinese restaurant, Thank you!!!

Excellent service, gorgeous food, they even brought out an ice cream with a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to me. What a wonderful restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for making my day special xx

Don't go, very disappointed. I ordered the crispy shredded chilli beef with chips and spring rolls The meat was soggy and slimley and grey? Overloaded with barely cooked vegetables. The chips were old and clearly re fried; very oily yet hard. Lastly the springrolls felt like crips that had gone stale and sauce was just plain nasty and full of colourings.Overall I won't be going back again, The Great Wall is a far better Chinese and is less than a yard from Chinatown. If your wanting Chinese food in this area, I would not recommend getting food from here at all.

*AVOID IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE ORDER DELIVERED*Ordered from here 3 times, each time, we had half of the order missing. They made excuses saying they had put the food in the bag, but we hadn't received it. Waited 1 hour 45 minutes to recieve the correct order after complaining; without even a partial refund offered. Very very poor; 1 star is being generous.

Waited nearly 2 hours for this meal have a 10 and 8 year who have waited for all this time for a meal to be told we are a driver down and only jusy cooking our food ??? mmmmmmm. When you order at 19:35 shouldn’t expect to wait until 10pm to get your food, It’s a shame really as the food was nice when it came but time it took terrible!!

I use this place on a regular basis although I live fifteen miles north of it. The food is always excellent and travels really well. We've never had a bad meal in the five years we've used it.
