Costa Coffee in Sheffield

Called in for a takeaway but I loved it as the staff were very friendly and professional.

Staff here are super friendly, always a lovely conversation whilst placing and waiting for your order.

Coffee is fine but the standards of cleanliness are terrible! The whole place needs a clean. Tables are not wiped and the floor is filthy. Staff are all stood around chatting and don't seem to care the place is unclean. They also barely pay attention when you are ordering. The bathroom is also disgraceful and dirty. I've been in a lot of Costas and this is the worst by far.

It’s a massively busy Costa due to its location and staff are run off their feet. They were all working hard despite the setbacks and dealing with rude customers who have clearly never worked in the industry and don’t get it! You guys and guys are great. Thank you for my coffee and making me welcome x

As you'd expect, nice building and decent drinks..not fond of going down the stairs with a tray though!

Love Costa coffee chains. They always have the perfect iced Belgian chocolate and coffee frostino and I highly recommend if you're travelling or just around the city centre to have a Costa. Perfect for work on a cold day plus with additional seating downstairs.

The low rating for the visit is because of the dirty and unhygienic toilet facilities. The toilet upstairs was in desperate need of a clean. When a member of staff explained that it would be cleaned but suggested the toilets downstairs, there was no toilet paper or hand wash in the dispenser. Can't even say that the customer service was good either. Not particularly helpful or friendly.

Good for a quick coffee but we have noticed lately the coffees havnt bee n very hot . I thought the milk had yo be at a certain temp. Its only been well drinkable straightaway. A latte should be steaming hot. Last you a while so you chat or whatever.

This Costa is housed in a nice old building opposite the Peace Gardens in the centre of Sheffield. You get an extensive range of drinks and food along with coffee beans, cups and coffee flavourings etc. The staff have always been good and there is seating upstairs and downstairs. The reason for 3 stars is that the store is really in need of refurbishment. You only have to look around to see it. Also it can feel somewhat dark inside, so attention to that would be a good idea. If you can overlook some of the wear and tear, it's a nice coffee shop in a nice location with the usual Costs offerings.

The superb exterior building drew me to Costa as I'm not a regular, but inside was majorly disappointing. Staff were distracted and inattentive. The whole place was filthy dirty, especially the floor. The atmosphere was grim. The coffee was OK but there are nicer, cleaner, better places to visit for coffee.
