After looking on their website it stated that they were doing Sunday Carvery, that brought back Memories of 20 years ago. Placed a reservation on line and duly arrived at 12:35. On arrival the place was empty , and the student behind the barsaid we are not doing Sunday roast, and then produce a menu which was very basic fare. What a disappointment, the local is really nice, set around a very large park and over looks a large pond. Albeit to say we didn't dine their.

Nice newly renovated pub, not a fan of shabby chic but seems to be hit with the students. Bar staff more than friendly and accommodating.

I visited Crookes Park for the first time and saw this pub overlooking the lake; I thought it’d be a great spot for a drink, especially with the great weather. However, after going inside, the staff were more interested in watching the TV; the interior was pretty understated and, overall, very underwhelming. Investment is required to make this pub in keeping with what you’d expect from a nice area reflective of Weston Park. I wouldn’t visit again, unless it was renovated.

Terrible! I was in there on the 9th May. It was a lovely day in terms of weather, lots of people drinking sensibly. And guess what!!!!! They decide to close at 19:20PM (last orders was before 7pm). Is it any wonder that pubs will eventually fall/close post pandemic. Places like this don’t deserve to stay open.

Nice food, served quicker than expected. Very efficient ordering online from the outside eating area to minimise contact. Nice view (helped by the fact that the weather was decent).Feels like you're further out of town than you actually are thanks to the shelter of the trees around the park. Definitely worth a visit.

This is my favourite pub in sheffield.I will list the reasons:1. Wonderful beer garden with scenery of the Dam2. Cheap booze, but not as cheap as around 8 years ago.3. The new chef makes some pretty tasty nosh.I had the pie, which i would reccomend. Came with a pint which i supped away.

After a day at the office we stumbled upon the diamond that is the dam house, wow what a beer garden. We ordered a variety of burgers and pizzas between us, all at £5 delightful. The selection off draughts on offer was unbelievable. Proper value for money. I would definitely go again and recommend to everyone

Worst food ever, my year 10 food tech group can cook better. Sloppy vegetable lasagne with peas and cauliflower in the mix and falafel wrap- both meals clearly just microwaved as the bread was soggy and the lettuce limp. The chef's were stupid outside as we arrived and were slobbing about whilst we were there, the girls behind the bar were lovely but the interior was dated and dirty and the sauce bottles were all empty. The place should be buzzing with the boating lake and size of the building but we will never come back. The only saving grace was the chips!Bad form guys!!

Pretty poor really. No atmosphere. Forgot my food order and served several people who ordered after me. Then said that there were no wraps left. So my "fish finger wrap" took forever to arrive, then turned out to be a white bread roll with half of a battered fish on it!
