Lovely little family-run pub, Tom and Barbara make you feel welcome always. Food is great pub food, good prices and massive portions. Best pint of Guinness I’ve ever had, and always struggle to decide between that and a pint of Moonshine. My favourite pub in the land, no competition

Bona fide traditional pub with huge portions of excellent home cooked food and live folk music 5 nights a week.Been run almost entirely by the same husband and wife team for 30+ years. They will provide a warm welcome and remember you if you return, while also being strong enough to enforce some element of crowd control when required.Beer selection is small but well kept. Moonshine and Guinness will always be there. If you like pubs how they used to be then you will struggle to find a better example anywhere, especially so close to a major city centre.

Been drinking in here for 35 years. Love it. It's like home. The best of Sheffield. Great live music. Thanks to Tom and Barbara.

Nice old school pub. Not enough of these places around. Great knowledge from landlord of local area, plus history to be learnt that can't be gained from modern pub's. Great tasting drinks, well looked after place

Cozy pub that is very traditional. Does the usual set of ales, beers, ciders etc. And their food looks reasonable and cheap! Smelt very much like wet dog inside, what can I say I guess it added to the genuine pub atmosphere. Bar staff are very friendly and nice!
