I'm so glad to have found this place during our small trip in Sheffield. Was a lovely sunny morning which made the whole atmosphere incredibly great. The food was absolutely tasty, probably one of the best breakfast I even had. A great thank you to all the staff! I will definitely recommend this place!

Very good food served by young, friendly staff in a buzzy ,comfortable premises. Imaginative menu with the emphasis on a brunch style to suit all tastes. And the prices are very reasonable. My only criticism is the cafe is difficult to find down an alley besides residential premises and the car park is on the small side.

Wonderful place. Great food, irrespective of their amazing mission which is admirable. A real hidden gem Indeed!

I’m coeliac so gluten free. I clearly stated this 2x when ordering my food, but meal came not Gluten free. Thankfully I asked them to check it was suitably for me to eat. They then said the breakfast was gluten free it was just the bread which wasn’t! The bread was on the plate! This showed they had absolutely no idea about being Coeliac. Definitely would not recommend. They gave us our drinks for free but charged me £2.95 more for gluten free bread. Very very poor dangerous service. They need more training

First time here. A little difficult to work out how to actually get to the car park as there is a confusing sign before you actually get there.Once in, was pleasantly surprised by the place. Modern with touch of rusticness (is that a word???).Wasn’t overly busy when I arrived but that soon changed on a Saturday morning!Coffee (black Americano). On the the strong side but brewed correctly. ****Breakfast (vegan full English). Slightly on small on the portion side but food was rich and filling. Nice crusty bread and plenty of healthy greens and mushrooms. Hash browns were warm tasty.Beans weren’t to my liking but edible. Potato wedges were tasty. Spinach and broccoli were a little on the greasy side but non the less flavoursome. ****Atmosphere was pleasant and not overly noisy. There was sufficient parking at the time but soon fills up so arrive early as possible (Saturdays).

Decided to go and see what all the fuss is about with the Hidden Gem.Wow....am I glad I did. The place really is a hidden gem. The setting is beautiful, backing into football fields and countryside views. The staff are absolutely 1st class, never failing to be helpful and polite. Reviews on here saying otherwise confuse me, maybe it's a reflection of the customer ??.The policies of hiring people who would maybe be at slightl disadvantage of finding employment elsewhere is commendable. And finally onto the food. What can I say. apart from absolutely beautiful and all home made . Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful morning and I'll definitely be a regular..

Arrived at this cafe for a Friday morning breakfast at 10am and it was full, waited a few minutes to be seated. The interior is cozy and the food was nice, but I have to say we weren’t impressed by the service, not rude, but just didn’t feel friendly. The thing that annoyed us was that we asked to substitute black pudding for bacon and were told this will have to be charged extra. Asking for more detail we were told that extra black pudding costs £1, but bacon is £1.50. So really if anything it should have been extra £0.50. At the end we saw £2 on the bill. It’s not about the money here but the principle. We would have ordered another round of drinks which we didn’t, because this charging extra for substitutes left us feeling like they don’t really care much about guests. Probably won’t come back.
