Handmade Burger Co. in Sheffield

I didn't like the food. The burgers were very dry and overworked. Maybe the chef was having a bad day but if they weren't I would recommend it. The best thing I had was chicken wings which I could have got a better version of from elsewhere.

Handmade Burger in other places is great, but I'm currently sat in the not very busy Meadowhall branch a full hour after we've finished our meals and the staff still haven't come to take payment (15 minutes after we had to ask for our bill).We're being served by a member of staff who doesn't seem to want to speak to us, taking away our glasses without so much as looking at us, let alone asking if we wanted the refills we'd paid for...As for the burgers, the kitchen staff had managed to burn the mushroom in the veggie burger, and the rosemary sea salt fries were pretty light on both rosemary & salt.Much nicer & definitely much, much quicker places to eat in Meadowhall than this

Excellent service. Good food. But its 3 stars because you don't get chips with your £10 meal. The cost of chips is pence. 1 handful cost about £0.40p but you have to buy them separately witch coats more than £3! JUST ADD CHIPS!!!

Really weird atmosphere, you feel as if you have walked into a fast food chain. You're rushed to your seat, then almost pounced on to get our order in. The waiter was very welcoming, it just felt very rushed. When the food come, it was delicious, really fresh tasting, full of flavour, genuinly good food. Would eat here again.

Decent portions, tasty food. Good decor and plenty of space in the restaurantfor what it is. Only recommend you prebook a table as the queue when arrived was massive and we only got in because we had booked online first! Staff nice. Toilets upstairs leave a LOT to be desired cleanliness and general maintenance wise. 🙄

Really good food and service unfortunately we were seated too close to the kitchen so lunch was disrupted by shouting, banging and clatering. But the worse part was when they used a very loud blender which obliterated all sound.

Really really nice burger and you can tell it was fresh, the down side is that you have to buy chips separately and they are not included in the meal. But other than that it was a plesent experience and the customer service was really good

(Visited Sep 2021)My friend and I came here for a quick bit before shopping: although it was a Saturday, we were seated more or less straightaway.After taking a while to consider all my options (the number of different burgers is fab!) I went for the Peanut Butter & Bacon. There wasn’t all that much peanut butter, but I enjoyed, and it filled a gap.Everything about this visit was ‘Very Good’. I reckon I’d go for a Brie & Cranberry next time!

This was an abysmal attempt at customer service and food quality. To begin with the waitress was rude when speaking to one of us about spilling drinks on the floor, the “food” then arrived to which we underwhelmed with due to the stale blob they call a burger bun. The whole service team were not attentive to us at all . A couple next to us saw what a bad time we were having and decided to leave after their drinks , it was that dreadful. To top the experience off we were overcharged by £13 on the basis that we re filled our refillable drinks ,and then the waitress was rude once again when issuing the refund due to the error which we had to point out to them . The only saving grace was no doubt supplier purchased chilli dip.If you want a better experience you can go to McDonald’s (a 1 minute walk away) buy a cheeseburger for 99p and a chilli dip for 20p and have a better time for a fraction of the price and incompetence.

Well disappointed. Burger was like they’d put it in a deep fat fryer and forgot about it. The service was good but when asking about the meal they then just walked off when I said it was well over cooked
