Jaflong in Sheffield

First visit in a very long time. Enjoyable experience.The popadoms and sources were excellent. My wife and I ate there and with a pint each it came to less than £45.Couple of minor gripes: the lighting was very bright; I prefer a more subdued, intimate feel in restaurants. And please change that carpet between the restaurant and toilets!!

A Really consistently good Indian restaurant, we use it regularly for take away, and occasionally for an meal inside the restaurantThe staff are always, pleasant, polite and attentive

We’ve been eating at Jaflong regularly ever since we moved to Crookes 15 years ago. Tonight was such a disappointing experience. We went to pick up our order and were told on arrival that the order would be about 5 more minutes. 40 minutes later, we are still waiting and losing our patience, will to live etc …ever so slightly…. Honesty goes a long way and we were blatantly lied to.When we finally got the order home, my son’s Tandoori king prawns meal had 4 prawns in it (£15 dish 😳) and my husband’s lamb dish had 4 pieces of meat. I will never eat in that restaurant again.

Really, really bad. My mate ordered a fish curry, got something else entirely at first and ended up with squid. Tough, cheap squid at that. Mine was OK but served by a frightened youth. Poor lads hovering around unable to speak English. Half-arsed service and crapppy toilets. Suspect immigration racket.

I will never spend another penny of mine at this restraunt, the food was rushed to us that fast that I was only half way through my starter when my mains was fetched out. When we finally finished our meal they was more or less pushing us out of the door, it was freezing and we'd asked them to order a taxi but they wouldn't let the women wait inside till the taxi they'd ordered come. Terrible

Really disappointed after reading reviews. All 4 of our curries were very very greasy as was the rice. The starter of popadoms onion bhagi and prawn puree were all very nice though. Much better out there for a more reasonable price.won't return.

Very enjoyable spot.I went there 2 years ago.When Corona wasn't there.I was fully enjoyed the day.I was gone there by boat.By boat you can go another sight, there you will see sands around the place.Under the river, you can see stones of vast color and sizes.Many people take a bath on that river.You can gather much experience here.But govt. should take more effective initiative to develope the place.Availability of good food is not here.Moreover, pure water doesn't here.They serves water of river for drinking.Don't forget to wear a sunglass.Because, that place is sunny.

Really fresh food, not greasy or overly salty. Friendly staff and generous portions.

Little disappointed with food on this visit.Not much taste to chicken tikka balti and not a lot of chicken. Hubby had lamb bhuna big chunks of fat not nice. Cheese n garlic bread absolutely delicious.
