Had a super afternoon tea here. Lovely sandwiches and cake and plenty of it. We all had doggie boxes to take home!

I visited this venue with my husband & daughter to celebrate my daughters upcoming birthday & my recent birthday. My daughter has never had afternoon tea before & it didn’t disappoint. It was a lovely afternoon tea with lots of choice for both food & drinks & all deliciously homemade. There is also a menu for children & a lovely gift shop to wander around afterwards all very good value for money.I would highly recommend this place & will be returning again very soon.Thankyou for such a delightful way to celebrate.

Our first visit for a birthday celebration the food was excellent and the staff were certainly welcoming and very attentive. Loved our Bublé tribute act and the night of dancing.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here as a rearranged Mother's Day treat due to family going down with Covid over the Mother's Day weekend. There is a wide range of sandwiches and cakes all served by really friendly staff. I will definitely be returning to celebrate other special occasions.

I ordered a toasted sandwich and, not having read the menu properly, didn't realise it came with coleslaw, which contains mustard which I'm allergic to. Entirely my fault as it was clear on the menu. Not only did they take it away without reproach, and make me a completely fresh sandwich and salad, but they gave me some crisps as well instead of coleslaw. Just really kind. The crisps of kindness. And it was delicious.

Better than Betty’s, great service and outstanding food. Bought 2 vouchers for afternoon tea, one standard and one vegan. The vegan afternoon tea was the best I’ve seen in terms of choices, etc. We will definitely return!

Jameson’s Tea Room is an excellent little place, with a great selection of afternoon teas, bite-sized appetisers, and complete dining options. We stopped in for the afternoon tea, quite by accident, and were very happy to find this gorgeous little gem. Portions are very generous (try the ploughman’s lunch) and the tea service comes in wrought-iron like double-tier trays. Tea pots are themed - ours had a Romeo and Juliet motif - which makes for a more fun experience. Service staff are warm, approachable and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. There was live piano which served to enhance the overall atmosphere. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. As a side note there’s also a Jameson’s eclectic store right next to the tea room, which has an interesting assortment of cards, candle holders, lunch boxes and even furniture. The service staff there are equally hospitable and if you dine at the tea room you get 10% off at the store. Highly recommend this place.

Initially I thought it expensive but after having a mothers day treat a week early. The food was lovely and the price included a top up of tea or coffee. The decor and atmosphere was lovely as was the waiter. The nicest afternoon tea I've ever had
