Great atmosphere, Excellent choice of beers, comfy & hospitable place, friendly and helpful staff. Just an excellent proper pub. Will be my go to place whenever in Sheffield.

Lovely "Old Man Pub" (my favourite sort of pub!!) no annoying music, no T.Vs just good old fashioned good beer and friendly service.The beer is well kept and tasty and there's a good selection. Definitely one of my favourite pubs in Sheffield.

Arrived yesterday, and although I had several different beers, was missing something. Today at Kelham Island Tavern, I found it!! LATE SUMMER PINTS. Refreshing, citrus and unfined beer. Hit the spot perfectly. Strange because I am normally a dark, non hoppy drinker and this is dry hopped and light. Definitely come back.

One of my favourites down Kelham. Always worth a trip. They usually do Wateralls pork pies and sausage rolls which are well worth trying if you're visiting Sheffield. They have a great selection of beers on and usually give you a traditional head. If you're southern or tight you can ask them to top it up. But I wouldn't recommend it, or you'll be tutted at by the barfly sat in the corner...Loads of seating through the back of the bar. Either in the conservatory or in the beer garden.Great friendly staff and some bloody amazing locals.Get yourself there!

Brilliant pub, long and difficult walk from the town centre (at least it was the way Google maps took me) but definitely worth the effort, best pub I've visited in Sheffield and there has been a few good'uns.
