Very good food and service, also the ambiance is very nice.

First time, great food delivered with a smile 😃 will be back and back.

Very disappointed nothing like the photos online food was awful we ordered the special burger came with no cheese and chicken fillet also was meant to have bacon and it had ham. The salad was off and my chips had a hair in it. Garlic bread was supermarket brought like a buggette but had 4 slices for £4 and it was stail. Asked for a iced tea and the lady didn't bother to bring it, as my partner went to pay the lady said she would give him 50% off been so mine wasn't really touched. Staff didn't speak good English and was not very organised and didn't see anyone working in kitchen except the lady at the front doing drinks wouldn't recommend⁹

Thank you sir; even though it wasn’t officially opening time the staff member saw fit to see to it that I was adequately caffeinated.The Wagon 1871 on first appearances looks like a large, trendy cafe. Take a look round and you’ll find hallmarks of an institution.There are depictions of the local history plastered on its walls. There is hanging floral arrangements on its ceilings and a go cart up there too. There was a South American vibe to the in house music, suiting the warmth of the morning that day.First and foremost Wagon 1871 serves excellent coffee. This quality will extend to its sweets and brunch food selection.

Lovely quick lunch before my train home. Excellent friendly service, great tasting food and very reasonably priced; Chicken fajitas, chips an a coke for under £10!

Went in to this place, unsure of what to expect. Was absolutely delighted with the outcome. Service staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will most certainly be coming back here.

Nice vegetarian mezze although unorthodox with the cheese slices, dorito chips and onion rings! Nice homemade bread and dips with dolamades. Service was a bit pedestrian.I would go back but not in any hurry.

The atmosphere is peaceful. All staff I met were lovely and very friendly. If you like bad jokes the manager had a few to give. I ate the hotdog hash that was amazing and reminded me of something I had in Spain. All in all I will be back to try more. P.s. great coffee.

Popped in for breakfast. Excellent quality of the food. Professionally served with a smile! Located opposite of the station and University. So a great place for travellers and students!
