Mangla in Sheffield

Ordered food from Mangla last night at 18:55, received a notification to say food would be with me by 20:14. When I called to query this they tried to insinuate that I was lying about the time that I ordered the food because the request wasn’t accepted until 19:55. Food didn’t arrive until gone 9pm, and when the chap delivered it he had a slip of paper in his hand - again trying to prove that I hadn’t ordered the food until an hour later :-/ No apology, no monetary compensation - and not so much as a popadom to say sorry. Will never use again! (See pic Mangla! Proof that it was ordered at 18:55! Trying insinuate that a customer is lying is poor!)

Terrible service. Food was estimated to arrive at 6:30pm Ended up arriving at 7:46pm. I rang several times to no answer. After calling more than 40+ times someone finally answered. Staff were rude and food arrived cold. Didn’t offer a refund or any compensation. Terrible terrible Will never order from here again

The worst Indian restaurant I have ever tried.- The staff are not professional- the quality of the food is poor comparing to any other Indian restaurants.- Even I tried the delivery, it took them 2 hours to deliver the food and it was cold.I suggest that you don’t go to the restaurant unless you don’t have any other choice.

Delivery this evening was stone cold, I just hope we're not all ill tomorrow! Warmed it up in the microwave, delivery was less than half a mile away therefore shouldn't have been cold!

It's a shame to describe one member of staff ruin the dinner as he was very rude, he was in a hurry to clean up the table, but I have to mention the two others staff were very friendly, specially one lady with braids, can't remember her name, she was very welcome in until we leave. Thanks you!

Do not order from here! Placed our order at 7, they said delivery would be 7:25-7:45. Hadn’t arrived by 8:15 so we called and was quickly told it was on its way and would be 5 minutes. It still hadn’t arrived by 8:30 so called again and they said it was nearby. By the time it arrived at 8:45, it was very cold and really didn’t taste nice at all. Order was also missing side items. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again as looking at the reviews this isn’t the first time it’s happened!

Used to love this place and been back for years but the attitude of the staff has jus got worse the last few times. They used to do a good deal if you ordered a good amount of food. Just not interested anymore and the telephone manner is awful. Very rude and condescending

Amazing food, great prices, wouldn’t consider anywhere else. My go to place for a butter chicken apna style and a garlic coriander naan.

Superb curry house.. beats some of the big popular mainstream places in Sheffield City Centre. This is by far one of the best curry’s in Sheffield, go here if you want a guaranteed five star meal! Cash only though!!

Its been many years since I was a frequent customer here...Service not friendly or particularly nice but they did bring popadoms with the yoghurt sauce, chopped onion and a spicy sauce in place of traditional mango chutney.Food overall was disappointing for the price!!I had a mixed kebab starter which seemed old and tough, like it had been reheated, not fresh!The chicken bhuna was not bad and the keema naan was fine.My wife's chicken tikka special was quite bland and several of the chicken pieces were pink in the middle, not good!!To summarise;Quite pricey for the qualityNo awards for service!Won't rush back....
