Good because its M&S. Tbh at this point we don't have much other option as there is only 2 other department stores in the whole of town.

Nice Mark's & Spencer in the centre of Barnsley. Not big store but an accet to town centre.

I love doing shopping here, especially during the Christmas season, since the Food Hall has a great choice of fine quality food and treats in reasonable prices.

The lady (Brown hair, Short-Medium Height) that was cleaning the woman's bathroom was very professional and kind to everyone she made contact with. She carried herself very well, and is clearly an exceptionally hard-working and sincere person. Yey to wonderful customer service!!

Great quality products with good sizes for man wears. Affordable yet long lasting. Good selection of food sections. Love it. Some younger staffs do need more customer services training and not to be rude. Overall a great experience in M&S!

Extremely unfriendly staff! All toilets except the ladys room were broken and i asked todays cleaner (08.09.2021) if i can use that as there was no one in. He shoutet at me while he was cleaning there (also a male)! I can not recommend that store!

A large, well-stocked supermarket with lots of lovely grub. The new option to pay with your phone (without going via the tills) is really convenient. It's quicker than queueing, easier to social distance, and saves remembering to bring your wallet – you only need your phone!

One staff member serving at the cafe till has not been very friendly at all on my todays visit. When it came to paying, I had to pass the drink to him and he holded from the cap region and returned it back to (no gloves - is this a hygienic way that I don't know). I asked for a glass and first as well as second glass wasn't thoroughly cleaned (who is responsible for this - washing assistant?). Anyways I settled with the 3rd one as it looked pretty OK. Next this guy at the till went to kitchen and when he came back he said "what else can I do?" I said I would like a receipt and his reply didn't sounded friendly at all "you supposed to ask receipt when you pay as machine doesn't automatically prints receipt?". Pizza I ordered was fine but customer service has been shocking for once. Maybe he didn't had a good day so I will give him benefit of doubt and would visit again to see if this repeats (and in that case I would stop visiting this M&S cafe).
