Not been to for years. Loved the fish. Curry sauce nice flavour but a bit runny. Chips were on verge of some very slightly under cooked. Portion size was good. Inside looked very clean and tidy with 2 staff on.

I only popped in for a chip butty. I expected a breadcake with a small portion of chips inside. When I got home I found a massive portion of chips, and only £2.50. Chips were spot on too

The best fish and chip shop in Sheffield. Why? They actually take card payments - why do no other chippies take card? I'm guessing its fees but really its a few pence per transaction now. They serve in a cardboard box and paper bag rather than polystyrene container and plastic bag - brilliant! Most of all, the fish and chips were lovely. Nice staff behind the counter too. Well done Wraggy's.

Very slow. Only two staff on a Saturday evening.Waited outside in the cold for 20 mins for a simple order. Quite expensive. Generous chip portion, fish average size. Better chippies available not too far away.

Lovely fish but chips were very bland. Only do a cone or regular chips and the regular portion is a little tight on the size. The fella serving was lacking decent customer service skills. Price is OK but overall there are better options close by.

I don't often indulge in fish and chips, but if I ever decide to I am very discerning as the idea of feeling like you have a greasy stodgy lump in your belly, which many chip shops seem to leave you with after eating, is never appealing. This is not the case with Wraggy's, everything is cooked fresh (so be prepared to wait just a few minutes... good things come to those...) and the fish is always excellent, with lovely flakey white meat in a crisp light batter - not the least bit greasy! The chips are outstanding also, the best potatoes cooked to golden perfection! Also, the owner takes great pride in what he serves, which means you are guaranteed a great fish and chip experience! This is a must for me, a fellow shop owner who prides himself on good customer service. In short, I now only ever go to Wraggy's if I'm wanting to indulge. Would certainly recommend...

I have been working in hotels, restaurants all over England... this cod and chips which we bought today (for the first time from Wraggy's) was spectacular. It was just different, fresh, cooked to order and yes it was not full of oil. It was cooked to be an healthy option. I don't know what type of oil they use, but it was best I have ever had. It was better then a good restaurant's fish and chips. Very strongly recommend.Thank you chef ;) You will be in a good business if you carry on that way ;)
