Mediterranean in Sheffield

Always great food and staff was realy busy but got served straight away with dribks and food didn't take long either

Visited on a Saturday evening at 6pm and the restaurant was full. Luckily we had booked a table and we're promptly escorted to it on arrival. The staff were very helpful and the choice and quality of the food was excellent. The tomato garlic bread was delicious and the fillet steak was tender and cooked exactly as I had requested. I would definitely recommend the restaurant but suggest that you book beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Food is good, but just good not so fantastic. Service was not always on time. It seems there was only one staff serving customers so she was always in a hurry. All in all, not satisfying.

Great menu. Great atmosphere. Great views of gardens next door.Reasonably priced and beautiful food. To say this is in the heart of Sheffield, its a great place to go for a nice, relatively inexpensive meal.Staff are lovely. Very clean. Can't fault it.Thanks for a great experience.

It's a nice atmosphere but found the food was a bit basic for the price tag! Paid £17.45 for the seabass which was well cooked but so basic - served on a bunch of rocket and 3 cherry tomatoes! Just seemed there could have been more skill in the dish for the price that was paid. Good service and staff who were attentive and polite.

Absolutely fantastic!! Great service, food and drinks.We wanted to try something different for our birthday celebrations and this place exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing and was reasonably priced. If you sign up online you get your meal for free on your birthday which saved us over £30We also tried to cocktails here and they're probably the best I've had in a while.We will definitely be booking again very soon!

Nice food with a great feel to the restaurant and it's clean modern decor, food was quick to come out and reasonably priced.

As always, had a lovely time at Ego.The menu has a wide variety of dishes, that also vary in price, along with a prix fixe menu that is excellent value. So while it can be expensive, there are also plenty of less pricey items on the menu to choose from. Every dish we have tried here has been top quality, including excellent steaks.The staff are always friendly and attentive. Always have a great time here.

Absolutely fantastic place! Lovely atmosphere, they bring water to the table when you arrive which is a nice touch and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the 3 course prix fixe which is an incredible deal and the food was well presented, ideal portion size, and delicious! Would absolutely recommend (and if you sign up to their free club you get some brilliant offers too)

Easily my favourite restaurant! Whenever someone mentions going out for a meal, Ego is the first place I suggest. Every time we've been, the staff have been lovely, the food has been so tasty, and the drinks are gorgeous! The atmosphere is so relaxed, perfect for a meal out.
