Great walking pub, lovely good, dog friendly but does tend to get busy. Lots of nearby walks which are beautiful. Lovely local ales too!

Fantastic place to have a meal which was superb. The staff were so helpful and polite and the food was amazing. Took my daughter for her birthday .

A lovely relaxed atmosphere with highly professional staff. A good place to visit in the countryside on the edge of a city. Menu is impressive. Caters for Gluten and lactose free diet with a real choice of food from the main menu. Good value for money too. Excellent venue to visit and by the way...I am not easy to please! Truly!

Perfect! It’s a lovely warm inviting pub. Was busy but the staff have hustle and managed very well. Beers were great, the food was flawless and they are dog friendly everywhere! Highly recommend the pie!

I frequent this pub regularly for food and drink. The food is inconsistent but I can recommend the Butternut Squash and Goats Cheese Lasagne, very nice. The service on a recent visit was very bad. We ordered two mulled wines which the barman brought to the counter then immediately took them away again saying they weren’t hot enough. He said it would be 2 mins, then disappeared. 5 mins later I was asked if I needed serving and I said I was still waiting for my mulled wine. She went to check and said it’s just being warmed up, sit down and I’ll bring it over to you. Another 5 mins and I went up to the bar again. When I asked how much longer it was going to be, the barman who’d served me originally snapped at me and was extremely rude and aggressive. I told him he could say it in a better manner than he was and he had the cheek to say I should be more polite! If it was going to be 10mins why not say so and why leave me standing at the bar? No apology whatsoever for the wait. It’s a busy pub and they seem to think they can afford to be rude to customers. I think the fact they never reply to any complaints on here shows how little respect they have for customer feedback.

Served efficiently by friendly and caring staff. Actually clarified about allergies and altered food accordingly. Food was scrumptious and delicious. The setting was peaceful and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Thanks for a lovely birthday meal! 😁

Nice welcome, managed to fit us in for a few drinks after a dog a wet dog walk. Even though they were busy. Lovely table by the fire with a relaxing atmosphere. Just what we needed.

We have Just had a meal here , the staff were so friendly and helpful , the food was excellent. All four of our meals were perfectly cooked and very tasty and good sized portions too. Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon and the pub packed inside and out and the staff run off their feet , they were very attentive and food was served quickly and piping hot. Well done Norfolk arms… we will definitely be back soon , thank you !

Just had our wedding here, everything was perfect, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. The Norfolk Arms is absolutely beautiful with stunning decor and scenery to match. The atmosphere in the bar area is friendly and warm so even when the guests turned up early it wasn't a problem. The food was really good, they catered for every dietary requirement, even putting plates aside for some of the guests with allergies that couldn't eat from the buffet. The wedding guests all had an amazing time and thought the venue was brilliant. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding and I can't wait to come back again!

This has to be our favourite pub in Sheffield, but our recent visit for an evening meal was really very poor. There were quite a few options not available, and when our food arrived it looked a bit “thrown on a plate”. Staff were friendly but seemed few and far between and distracted dispute there being quite a few empty tables. The food was really below average and we’ve had some great pub grub here in the past. I don’t normally leave reviews but we love this pub so much, I’d hate to see it deteriorate from the great standards it set on previous visits. So hoping this gets seen by the owners so that things might improve.
