This is my local chippy and never fails us. Good size portions freshly cooked fish ,delicious!

I originally gave this place one star and for good reason at the time. I have since been back twice and tried again and was blown away by how much they had improved. Perfect portion sizes more than enough food for large cod and large chips, a bit pricey at £9.50 so a tenner plus with a sauce and drink. Can pay cash or card, minimum purchase for card. Well worth the outlay for a nice treat. Only downside is if they run out of large fish it's not worth the price to get a smaller one, especially if you're hungry.

Nice piece of fish, chips a little cold. Not sure compared to other fish n chip shops as only used as a treat now and again. Was very expensive.

excellent food always spot on but the price increase in the last 6 months is ridiculous £6.90 for a large cod £2.60 for chips was his choice to renovate he's now put the prices on his long time loyal customers not happy 🙄

Our peas for the second time weren't on the order also I had a chicken tikka kebab and got a mixed chicken kebab most of it was wasted very unlike u I know you were busy but still not the best experience tonight 14/10/21

I've always loved this fish and chip shop; it has become even better since its recent refurbishment.Now the chippy has reopened, it has gained a new function, the ability to call in an order and pick it up at the side of the building via a (pickup window)Their food is always of good quality, and the establishment is impeccably clean; remember to ask for items like chicken burgers when you enter the premises so they can prepare it for you in a timely fashion.The staff at the Ocean Blue have always been brilliant and cheerful, which in of itself makes this family fish and chip shop worth visiting.
