Had a top night here, I would highly recommend the food package deal. Really good value for money. The food was really nice, I would definitely go again.

Celebrating our grandson's 18th birthdayFantastic table in the restaurant with panoramic views of the track. The food was very good & great value, the staff were very helpful & pleasant. We will definitely be making a return visit, a super night out at a very reasonable price. No need to leave your table once seated as it's table service all the way, even bets taken at your table. Clean, accessible & very welcoming; thanks to all the staff for a good night out.

Had a great night in one of the luxurious boxes. Waiting and bar staff were excellent. Tote man very helpful and had his work cut out for him. Food fab. Great night had. Very accommodating all round. Deserve more than 5 stars.

Great night out, good food will be back again

We really enjoyed our night out, the food was lovely. Staff were really nice and the service was good even though it was very busy in the restaurant.

I'd never been to a greyhound stadium before and I was so glad I went. The atmosphere was electric, great fun, I'd go again

First time in a long time we've been here. Not what we remembered and we've done both corporate and and standard evenings.The tickets said VIP. There's nothing VIP about the experience. Far too many people crowded in one room trying to get to the bar. It took us over 20 minutes to get served. Yes I am aware of the staff shortages in hospitality but there appeared to be more than enough people on the bar. It was more the size of the serving area and that it felt like everyone was shoe horned in, making it very unpleasant.The free bottle of beer I got was flat and my wife had two sips of her wine and said it tasted awful. We had one drink stayed for 3 races and left.Plus point were the two people I had interaction with placing bets who were really helpful as I couldn't remember the betting procedure. That's why I've given two stars.I'm glad we didn't have to pay for the experience. It's a shame because I've had many a good night at Owlerton in the past.

Good value night out. I'm not a gambler but the ability to bet very small amounts, or not at all, was welcome. The entrance fee, of £12, included a drink, chicken and chip supper and 2 free bets! Enjoyable and different night.

First visit for a long time we were in the restaurant for the evening.Entrance , race card and a 3 course meal for £30.Table service for drinks and betting the staff were friendly and approachable, you settled your drinks bill at the end of the evening. A great night out and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Why does the stadium allow events to be run when there are only the most basic facilities? I can only comment on the ground level standing areas as I did not go upstairs to the restaurant. No soap or cleaning towels in the toilets, very few sanitising stations, no bins for rubbish and no food or drinks available. Of course this will probably all change tomorrow Mon, 19 July. Not impressed, probably won't return.
