Piccolino in Sheffield

Visited prior to theatre. Fabulous food. Very pleasant staff. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Super …. Mario was amazing , I had made a error with my partners order and he was only to pleased to sort it out . Food for lovely and fresh ..service was excellent.. due to Covid my partner and I have not been away .. it was my birthday treat away .. …a perfect end to beautiful break in Sheffield and will be returning soon .Came has customers felt like we left like friends….Thanks Sandy and Nick from LeicesterKeep up the great work .x

Piccolino is normally my favourite restaurantfrom all the ones I have visited I have loved but the this one in Sheffield has to be the worst I’ve ever had and not just because it’s Piccolino the food itself was bland and cold! Was my first time visiting this one in Sheffield.Wasn’t a nice taste in sight. Between us we ordered a lot of starters we sent two back due to being cold. My main arrived it was small portion wasn’t hot nor warm just cold with no taste whatsoever. I left hungry and eat elsewhere. I didn’t bother to complain but I certainly won’t be visiting or recommending this one!!

I miss the food here. Miss the days without covid. Miss the amazing Parma prosciutto con melon and that Christmas I have here❤️ servers are all good and food is quite incredible.

Consistently great for food and wine. If you love your steaks, gambaroni and Amarone then this place shouldn’t disappoint. Also fresh fish, meats and pastas. I eat across the UK in many Piccolinos North and South and this one has a great location and setup.

I can be quite fussy about food and service, and to be fair I wasn’t let down on the service front. The waitress was really lovely and helpful. On the food front, it was actually really nice. We both had pizza and the base of the pizza was really nice! Clearly must have been done in a proper pizza oven. The calamari starter was simple but nice as you’d expect. Big selections of wine too, and a nice atmosphere. We’d go again! We don’t say that about many places.

The place looks amazing, the staff are friendly and the food is tasty. If you like creme brûlée, this is the place to come to. The best one over ever had. The pasta was nice, although I had to add some chilli flakes to make is just how I like it. The cocktails were very tasty. We will definitely be back again.

So so impressed with this lovely restaurant. I always rate Piccolino highly but this one was exceptional.My friend and I turned up with no booking on a very busy Saturday evening, after being turned away from multiple other places.The staff were so kind and managed to get us a lovely table on the terrace too.The service was lovely and attentive and food was delicious, I couldn’t rate more highly and will definitely go back when I’m next in Sheffield!

Beautiful food, Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Children’s menu was great, the food portions were great for kids and we even took the leftovers for later. My husband couldn’t rate the seafood risotto enough. We will definitely be returning.
