RIDGEWAY ARMS in Sheffield

Welcoming and decent food. The two ladies serving this Sunday lunchtime were rushed off their feet, but still managed to make our visit pleasant.

I went with my family to the Ridgeway Arms for tea for my dads birthday a few weeks back. The food and drinks choices were amazing and the service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be returning again soon and I would highly recommend this pub.

The Food was great waiting time a bit long but the food made up for it and the staff were lovely very friendly/helpful and the pub was packed so I advise to book will definitely go again

Went to a birthday party there. Not the first time I've been either.Easy to find, plenty of parking.The room is spacious and I reckon could fit around 100 people if needed.Standard pub drinks you'd expect to find so nothing that would entice me back for a drink/meal. I also saw some people having jager bombs and the staff kept pulling out dirty glasses. To be fair, he didn't use them but just concerned me why they were put away dirty and maybe another less conscious staff member might have just used them anyway. I'm speaking from the experience of working behind bars myself.

Had a fabulous meal here today, 16oz ribeye and wife had chicken spicy kebab. Only places I've had steaks as nice as that is in the Canary Islands. The lady behind the bar was really quite delightful to talk to. Really looking forward to next visit, hadn't been here for 32 years before today, just been too busy :)

Great Festive Lunch today. Food piping hot, well presented and cooked to perfection. Starters brilliant and desserts perfect. What more do you need. Staff very helpful and friendly. A great start to the festivities.

Reasonable prices, nice environment and the food was a above average quality for this sort of thing. It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's just the same as a lot of pubs now, you know what you are going to get, and they do that well. No choice of craft beer that I could see, but they did have my wife's favourite wine, which is unusual. Just not my kind of place, nothing outstanding, nothing wrong with it either. Recommended for a decent value meal and a pint.

Amazing meal last night. Demolished the 32oz fondue challenge - steak cooked to perfection and just bloody stunning. Massive shout out to the manageress and team for your quality service. See you on the 10th for Whitney Huston night, if not before!

It seems like a nice place, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience there.Me and my friends ordered 3 pints and some chips through the app. They brought out the chips, but the drinks never came. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I decided to go inside and let them know what's happening. The servers were rude and asked me to be patient, they are coming.I don't think how the situation was handled was appropriate or professional.
