Excellent reasonably price food very large portions mainly pies and a few other choices and amazing pudding.EHU available for two motorhomes wonderful views over the valley with an hourly bus service down to Hillsborough interchange from outside pub.

What an amazing pub stayed in the car park in our large moterhome. Great food very good value for money. Locals and staff very welcoming and best of all dog friendly. We will definitely be going back x

Went for a meal for a family of 7 with 2 dogs on our last stay in an airbnb up the road. Fabulous food, great service and huge portion size. Staff/owners were really friendly and chatty, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend 😊

A great location on the edge of the Peak District. Fantastic place to stay, accommodation was comfortable, clean, tea, coffee, toiletries clean towels. Would highly recommend staying here. The owners made me feel so welcome even more so as was on a solo trip. Great beer great food great owners and looking forward to a return visit in the near future !!!

Well it's been a long time since I have been here. Stayed here for a few weeks about 6 - 7 years ago while I was working around Sheffield. Great cozy pub and very welcoming. Great owners and even the pub folk were a great laugh. Miss it up here.

From the second you enter the hotel you are made to feel incredibly welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Hospitality is amazing, food is fantastic and the views wow!!The value for money is the best of the best. Rooms are basic onnsuite, but what more do you need?Especially in times of covid19, this is the perfect place for a weekend or time away.I will absolutely definitely be coming back.Thanks again Dave and your family for your kindness and generosity.
