Great environment, always bustling. Bar staff were friendly and willing to chat as well as quick to serve and efficient. Excellent beer selection and food, with several options for those who are driving.

Great pub, fantastic atmosphere. Really bucks the trend of bright sterile bars all serving the same 5 drinks. Somewhere to go if you like a pub with character. Solid selection of ales, with a taster offered immediately before I bought. Well worth the half hour travel in my case. Drinks weren't cheap, but weren't unreasonable either, you're paying for quality over quantity here.

Love this pub. Had the Rutty Butty which was great and the decor was fun and different. A proper sheffield pub!! Just don't go in expecting your mainstream lagers as they focus on real ales.

A classic oldy worldy pub that has kept is charm from the 80's. Friendly staff, great local brewed beers. Retro sights to behold on the walls and ceilings. I love this place.

Great food.We arrived cold from the street, and the food from this place felt luxurious. Warm, juicy and tasty. I've missed the fireplace being lit - then it would have been perfect.

Whether you come for a Rutty Butty or for a full meal out this place always delivers. Without doubt the best value food in Sheffield and it holds its own against places charging top prices. The menu regularly changes offering exciting unique options which pair excellently with great beer and an excellent atmosphere. Tonight’s special, a rabbit, bacon and cranberry croquet was a genuine delight and on balance, probably the best pub food I’ve ever eaten. Thanks team!

I was highly recommended this Pub for its large selection of beers, great food and welcoming atmosphere. Certainly a nice vibe and a friendly customer base, beers were pretty amazing and the price very reasonable. Unfortunately the menu was a little disappointing since we had heard of much more diverse dishes being offered in the past but hey ho we ordered a couple of sandwiches and they were definitely very tasty. The main thing I like about this place though, everyone’s pretty open and cheerful, that’s what matters most.

Excellent pub. The selection of beers is fantastic, food also very good and lovingly prepared by the chef. Vegetarian options are decent. The overall vibe is quirky with a spacious outdoor area in the back. One of Sheffield's finest.

The best pub in Sheffield, superb range of craft beer, fantastic food and an easy and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are great too, nothing is to much trouble. Love this place!
