Argyle on tour. Needed a real ale after getting thumped by Wednesday!! This place is cool. Took a bit of time to find it. It has bags of character, is well frequented and a cracking ambiance. No frills....just a good choice of beers and snacks. Happy staff buzzing around. Most of the walls are covered in beer mats and paraphernalia of all things pubby....just created a word...haha....It does live music but tonight there was a private do upstairs...

This place is a little gem in Sheffield with such welcoming atmosphere! Great selection of beer, whiskey and gin for very reasonable prices! We've visited several times since we moved in, and it was always a great experience. They also have a lovely seating area outside!

Just across the ring road from the Kelham Island Tavern. Part of one of Englands best pub crawls...more real ales than any normal human can handle in a day. The Fat Cat is then a stones throw away. Beware ... you might be checking in to Hotel California ...so please visit the Shakespeare.
