Absolutely lovely plate of brisket, fries and crispy onion. The brisket was succulent and had a fantastic flavor........ and those crispy ends 👍 Mortimer's cider very nice too.

I've been to Smoke quite a few times before the pandemic and really enjoyed it but this was the first time going back after. They've not changed the menu but the chips are different (although looking at other reviews maybe they were cooked different or they ran out of the usual as other recent reviews seem to be the old style?) they were still nice and the food was good. Meat wasn't very hot but it was cooked. I think portions have got a bit smaller too.We booked a table for 8pm on Saturday and there were a couple of big tables which had the focus of the servers. I had to go up to the front to ask to be served after being sat for 20 minutes. There were a couple of tables that came in after us that got served before. Not sure if they were short staffed but it seemed like our server was more focused on the big table, didn't see them serve anyone but us and them. Food came quick. The server did apologise when we were paying for not coming to us.Overall average and not how I remember it from before. Not sure if I'd go back again

Friendly service. Loved the food especially the chips. Meat was cooked nice and there was good options. Had the cheesecake of the day for dessert and it was wonderful. Tried the s’more cookie sandwich, very nice but wish it was warmer. A little pricey but worth it. Would definitely return.

Amazing food as always. Got our drinks order and desert order mixed up a couple of times but was rectified.

Went here on the back of the reviews. We had not booked but welcomed well and seated in a nice booth. Service was good and food comes quickly. I have been to many BBQ restaurants in the UK & US. We ordered ribs/thighs/pulled pork. The chips and the thighs were great but the ribs and pork were a big disappointment. As a ‘smoke’ I expected the ribs to fall from the bone but there was little meat on them and the meat which was was dry and even trying to cut it off with a knife was tough. You could argue it was the ribs themselves but even with bad ribs if cooked properly they shouldn’t be like that. Shame as outside of this all else was good.

The beef Rib was amazing. But the chicken thighs were bad honestly. A weird taste that comes out if chicken is very old. I would go back for the beef ribs.

Been here a good amount of times. The portions are good but I found the meal very dry. This time I ordered the single beef rib, it needed more sauce with it. I hardly touched the onion strings. Ordered the cookie sandwich s'mores for dessert. This used to be great but they've changed how they do it now. Again dry and far too many marshmallows! Had to pinch a scoop of my mates ice cream to go with it. Maybe I picked the wrong thing this time but would go again in future!

So. I'm a fan of BBQ and sometimes it's nice not to spend 8 hours smoking stuff yourself (although on reflection that's most the fun). So checked out Smoke whilst in Sheffield. Overall it was decent. Food was good and plentiful. Kids enjoyed it and the service was great. Highlights were the Brisket Burnt Ends....get them...get lots of them....sharing plate was the low light, wasn't that inspiring so I'd skip it. The ribs plate was good but I'm not sure it's really worth £17...seems overpriced compared to other places I've been. Same as the whisky sour...tasted amazing but £8 seems slightly pricey for what it is. Brisket chilli dog was brilliant and kids menu amazingly well priced. I would go back and just order whisky sours and burnt ends...lots and lots of burnt ends. Place was busy which shows it was good but overall I would say brilliant food and experience but slightly overpriced.

Went here for a birthday celebration on Sunday afternoon. Ordered the Pulled Pork Pit Plate which was amazing and the spicy beans that are very delicious. The pulled pork just melts in your mouth. I’d recommend smothering the meat in the BBQ sauce as it adds more flavour.I do remember when the pit plates were at £11 which seems more reasonable than £14 but I can’t complain with companies still continuing like this gem. Friendly staff, refreshing apple juice, just what I want on a Sunday afternoon.
