The Broadfield in Sheffield

Really amazing, atmosphere was great, fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken burger was also incredible. The service was great and we had a really nice table. 10/10 our new local

Home cooked style food was alright, we had a beef n ale pie n chips. Pie wasn't bad but not much meat, chips were nice and some of the biggest ive ever seen! Kids had chicken goujons which they didnt like as they were tasteless, did like the chips thou'. Had a few craft ales on draught which were ok and more in cans from the fridge. All in all was'nt bad but wont be rushing back. I will say that the experience was made better by the helpful and friendly staff!

We were walk ins but they found a table for us, nicely near the cosy fire. Table service was fast and the food was well worth the price. I had goats cheese, chilli jam and rocket sandwich with chonky chips. Delicious and filling.

We went to the Broardfield for Sunday lunch. There was a good choice of roast dinners; all were served with seasonal vegetables and a large Yorkshire pudding. The portions sizes are good and the food tasty. The staff were polite and efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. The pub had a nice family friendly atmosphere. A good place to go for Sunday lunch.

We've been coming to the Broadfield since we moved to Sheffield a few years ago and it's always the friendliest, most reliable treat for all of us. They're amazingly accommodating with the kids, and no one judges when we tuck in to a cocktail while the kids are eating their food (which is great quality and huge portions. Grown up food is also always brilliant. It's like coming to an old friend's house.

Service was really good, we were a group of 6 including some indecisive diners. The lady looking after us was really patient and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was tasty and hearty with a good choice of quality vegetarian options including sausages and pies. All 6 of us were very happy, the staff were excellent.

One of the best pub food I ever had in Sheffield.Ten out ten, chicken pie was surprisingly great😍 better to share the Ham hock with 2-3 people, such a big portion, tastes lovely too.Staffs are really nice. Overall experience was fantastic.💯💯💯💯💯I will definitely come back again and try different thing on the menu.This is really good for family gathering❤️

Updated 02/08: Upped to a full 5 stars, went again, partner had lamb roast dinner, looked amazing. I saw others having a roast and the Yorkshire's looked huge, so I asked if I could get one on the side of my Steak, Potato, and Hendos pie. Great staff said of course, meal came with a great sized Yorkshire and the pie was filled. Very good, highly recommend.Steak and Hendos pie tasted amazing, one of the best pies I've had! Dessert was a little on the under-flavoured side (had banoffee cheesecake) but overall very good, will go back. Would give 4.5 if I could.

Locally famous pub, who specialises in pies (with very chunky chips) and sausages. The pub itself was fine, with very attentive staff, and the pie that I had was very filling!

Excellent pie, gravy, chips (cooked 3 ways) and peas. Only minus for me, and this is a personal taste, I don't like minted peas with the above. Good value for £10.95.
