Great pub in a fantastic location, friendly staff whether you're visiting for a mid-morning coffee, lunchtime beer (Thornbridge beers!) or an evening meal (the whitebait from the tapas range is amazing!) Dog friendly too, they always make my Cocker Spaniel welcome with a few doggie treats!

We (7 of us) came here for my mum's 70th birthday and the venue and staff were absolutely brilliant. They gave us the corner with the gorgeous windows and we were able to watch the sunset. The food was so tasty and everyone was satisfied. It was a great experience I will never forget.

Out first visit in a very long time and certainly won't be our last. A really good menu offering both traditional favourites (including fantastic Sunday lunches!) and some more unusual offerings. Everything we chose was faultless. Service is professional and friendly. Prices are reasonable for what is received. Well worth a try.

I love this pub. It's so friendly and the food is excellent. The log fires make it the perfect place for a winters evening with someone special.

An absolutely fantastic experience! The quality of the food, drink and service was exceptional. We had a party of 11 and one toddler. Everyone was accommodated for. My 93 year old Grandma was allowed to wait until the day to decide if she was going to feel up to attending. We had people in our party cancelling and rebooking. Sophie went well over and above to ensure the day went smoothly. And the food was particularly impressive. From the champagne and canapés to the breakfast goodie bags we left with. I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else in the future.

We have visited twice recently (lunch and dinner) and both times the food and service at The Cricket Inn was exceptional. The beer is of course excellent given their brewing roots, and the wine list good too. Can't fault the place now I think about it. Lunch yesterday the rump steak was superb and I think it's the first meal in a long time where no one had even a slight criticism of their meal. The triple ground beef burger is also wonderful. Big car park so no problem getting a space.

Excellent food, good portion size. Comfortable indoors area. Fantastic service. We had the Beef short rib bourginon and duck confit. The dark chocolate and salted mousse with hazelnut praline is to die for!Good choice of beers and lovely outside area too. Would definitely recommend and wish we could have that mousse delivered when we're back home in Surrey!
