The Crown Inn in Sheffield

Food and service very good as always. Very popular with dog walkers with numerous dogs allowed into bar area. However, one area is designated 'no dogs' which is good. No WiFi available.

Great vibe, lovely food and very welcoming staff! Will definitely be back!

Visited on Sunday with my dog so nice to pop for a Sunday lunch with the dog the roast beef was ordered and melted in my mouth, perfect, beer was great aswell and service was 5 star would recommend and I will be back a lovely cosy freindly pub with great food !!!

Lovely country Inn. Log fires, people with dogs, very welcoming. The food was great too.

So impressed. Ate and drank there yesterday for a long lunch. Pub was full and stayed full through to the evening. It was clear they'd really thought about the timings so not everyone turned up at the same time and tables were turned over at a comfortable rate. Brilliant service, particularly from Tom and Olivia who remained calm and cheerful throughout. Great beer, great food. Great atmosphere and great service!

Absolutely wonderful food. I've had 2 meals out in 2 days and the crown knocked the socks off the big name restaurant in the city. The Christmas menu was fabulous and excellent value .

If it was possible to give 10 stars then this place would get it. How they don't have a Michelin star is beyond me. The food is amazing, the staff are helpful and very welcoming and the atmosphere of the pub itself is warm and cosy, even on the coldest of days. We went as a family and will all be returning in January having already booked. A real jewel in Sheffield's Crown.

The service here is very good, the staff are very friendly and the food was fantastic, I highly recommend the fish and chips.It's a great place for dog owners as it's dog friendly and can take them inside, they have water bowls for your dogs to have a drink.They have outdoor seating on the front and around the side, I big gazebo, ideal for when it's raining but you want to sit outside.Highly recommend this place, thanks so much.

Called today had steak and caramelised onion pie, my wife steak pie with carrot cake and cheesecake to follow lovely food, lovely staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommended shame its not a bit near. Thanks

Update January 2018: the food is now of an excellent quality, with great portions and without much of a wait at all. The surf and turf is delicious, and I highly recommend getting the steak on the “hot rocks” which allows you to cook it a bit at a time yourself. Perfect for a pinker steak. The homemade chips are really tasty, and the atmosphere in general if friendly and warm. Highly recommended.It's a great walkers Pub, warm atmosphere and good beers.
