Argyle on tour. ...and my continuing search for real ale pubs in Sheffield. I'm attempting to drown my sorrows after a thumping by Wednesday!! From the outside this pub looks fabulous. Inside, it is devoid of any atmosphere or pundits....on a Saturday night. Its big, but needs a huge makeover ....huge potential. Beer was good. I had my first chip butty....ever....and it was....different. Barman was cool...music pretty good...that's about it really. Its a shame...

I've been coming to this pub for the 12 years now and loved it since day one. I'm a real cider fan and this pub has always had so much choice in real cider. Regular winner of Cider pub awards shows this.See my photos of the cider board showing the selections that were on offer last time I visited.The home made food is amazing, Really good quality and tasty. Friendly knowledgeable staff, that love what they do. And they have live music most weekends too.Highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting Sheffield.
