Delicious. Great service even on packed Saturday night. Food is heavenly, wonderful selection of drinks.

·

Very busy and if you didn't have a table reserved you would struggle to get a seat on a Saturday evening. The drinks were great and a good selection. Staff were friendly and helpful and worked incredibly hard.

Had a fabulous meal at the Lescar. It’s all beautifully refurbished and our waiter Marc was very personable. He could not have been more helpful so thank you for a lovely experience!

Fantastic renovation... Subtle at the front but at the back the real investment has gone in, including new bar in the outhouse. Will be great in summer.

A truly inviting tucked away pub. Homely, warming and comfy.Main area is great for casual drinks and chilled socials. Atmospheric room at the back (where events are held) and spacious beer garden at the back. Food is great but you're more likely to go here for a few drinks. Great selection of drinks. Friendly staff. Always busy but not uncomfortably busy. A personal favourite of mine for the S11 area.

We had a lovely meal here last week. Mark was extremely attentive & friendly & managed to find us a table despite being busy.We both ordered the pie, which was delicious, & we didn't have to wait too long. Chloe bought further drinks & both Mark & Chloe popped back to ensure everything was OK.It's a lovely pub & Chloe & Mark went out of their way to ensure we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.Excellent all around & I would most definitely recommend.

Great range of home cooked food, all of which tastes delicious. Good range of beers and wines as well. Nice little beer courtyard out the back when the weather's good too.

Worst experience in a long time.1. Table was booked for 7:30 we went for food, first thing we were told was that if we ordered immediately that we would be served before the party they had on, followed immediately by another staff member telling us that food would be at least an hour as they had a party on.2. We ordered and food did take over an hour which was not a surprise.3. When the food came I was served a burger that was so overcooked I could have played hockey with it.4. That was sent back which meant another 15 minutes to wait while the rest of the table ate.5. When we asked to pay so we could finally leave the card machine broke, no one even mentioned it, so we sat for even longer.6. No apology was given. On the plus side the staff did apologies for the poor food and did explain when asked about delays. But overall a terrible night. I don't think they can blame COVID for this one.

Nice pub with large outdoor areas (front and back) large selection of beers. Didn't have any food so can't comment on that. Enjoyed it! Friendly staff really helps.

·

Gastro pub prices with awful service and terribly rude staff. The prices are extortionate but would be forgiveable if the staff were pleasant or had basic manners. We were sat on an unmarked table outside and told "move it's booked" after just spending £15 on two drinks after already waiting a long time for service. Would not recommend visiting at all - there are much nicer pubs in the area.
