The Mogul Room in Sheffield

Very disappointed with the order. We ordered a vegetable massala which I don't think contained any massala sauce.. Just oil and grease as a replacement with a tiny bit of spice, it was inedible. We also ordered the mixed kabab which said it contained 3 varied meats and that's literally what there was just 3 tiny pieces of meat thrown into a box with nothing, I expected a little more. Salad was thrown into sandwich bags with little care. A chicken tikka massala was ordered and that was actually how you'd expect and how I expected the previous massala dish.. Food was delivered quickly though.

Great tasting food but an arse of a delivery driver, food was a bit damaged and delivered without care, he didn't read basic instructions in notes, and ended up in the wrong place, says he called me but it didn't come up yet the restaurant called me fine, he then proceeded to have a go at me for it in the street.

Ordered for dinner and ended up cooking food at home because of the quantity of the portion. Very unsatisfying experience and food was not that tasty too. Will not order again from this restaurant in

Really disappointed. Used to be great here but the watery slop I waited 45 minutes for wasn't even close to a curry. When I called to complain was grumpily told they had sold loads of Madras that evening so can only assume they watered it down, as my naan ended up like a wet flannel. Inedible even after draining it in the sink. Awful experience. Wont be going back. How not to do it. Shame after 20 years of good food. Not sure what's changed but I'll be changing my curry house!

Used to be a family favourite, tried it again having had a 2 year gap since last trip. Had pre booked but no table ready when we arrived, despite not being full. Eventually got seated after the 7 of us had spent 20 mins in the small 'bar' area, ended up with the worst table in the restaurant right by the toilets and kitchen. Food was average, service dreadful, interior and toilets should have been refurbished a long time ago. Real shame this Indian has lost its charm from start to finish

Went Saturday with friends, different dishes were had by everyone all of which were delicious. My Balti was one of the best I've ever tasted. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back.

The Mogul Room has gone from a cosy favourite to the worst curry we’ve ever had. I think it’s changed hands. Bland doesn’t event cover it. Flavourless, cheap ingredients. I think someone with no tastes buds cooked the food.I bet a prison curry has more flavour.Plus the waiter was picking his nose and teeth.Overpriced.

I visit this place with my friends, very nice curry and rest of food. Wasn't very busy that night but slow service, but was nice so didn't mind the wait. Overall nice experience.

Second visit here and yet again they had to go out to get ice for the drinks. Some of the food was excellent but a couple of the dishes were hit and miss.Our table was wiped down with a kitchen cloth whilst we were sat at it and they don't serve tea or coffee. Needless to say there won't be a third visit.

My all time favourite Indian. I only go here for a treat now and then but it has never disappointed. Amazing food every time and really friendly staff who are always so helpful and great for a chat with. Recommend this place to all my friends and family every time.
