Very poor experience. After being told food would be 30 minutes when ordered at the bar. We waited an hour and were then told that our order had not been printed in the kitchen.By this point my husband had walked back to the car to buy more parking and we had ordered more drinks through the App (these didn't arrive till we asked for them).Food (two burgers) eventually arrived almost thirty minutes later. One was okay, though it had some pink spots, the other burger was hardly cooked very pink and cold. The manager (we think as she failed to tell us who she was) was very apologetic and offered various excuses about trainee chefs, and being busy and she did refund in full, but she was not exactly polite in doing so.We also witnessed other families being served stale bread rolls with their burgers, and when they asked for a fresh one were told it would be right out, but then had to go to bar to get itThis place is slow, the food is okay if you like your burger semi raw, the staff are rushed off their feet as there are not enough of them, and management appears to have given up caring and would rather make poor excuses. The manager (?) Did ask us to give them another chance as it was a bad day, who knows, not sure I want to risk it.

Very cosy place and a very homey place. Drinks and food are very nice, warm and tasy. And the waiters are very friendly and attentive.

Meal was long time to come. Wife's meal was barley warm the egg was cold. Mine was warm. Other than that ok. We were given another 1/2 pint as compensation. Not go again.

Our First visit exceeded are expectations.Usually when going to city hall we use wetherspoons ,but just a lately I've very dissapointed with choice of food or lack of it .So we were told to try the museum honestly I didn't know it was there & we were presently surprised .We will definitely be back x

I love this old pub, lots of History. The food is always nice and they have a good range of beers. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Wait was not as long as we were warned, so that was nice. Fish fingers nice - better than the cheap kids version you get in some places. Peas were a bit dry, but apart from that it was a decent meal and good service.

We went as a family for tea 5th Dec.. they told us they had a medical emergency and food would be a while as the chef was first aid trained. We were kept fully informed and food did arrive all well cooked and hot. We all enjoyed it and Thank you to the staff for a lovely family time

The food is OK, typical chain food and the menu wasn't that extensive (out of 6 meals 4 were decent and 2 poor). Food was over an hours wait on Saturday, which is a bit much although they did estimate 45 mins so not too far over. Good selection of beers. Pretty much what you'd expect it to be.

Steak and ale pie taste good, nice selection of local ale, and it's close to the city centre. The pub is spacious with at least 3 floors, quite suitable for a group of 4 or above.Order at the bar, they do not have app ordering system yet.

I've never been to a Greene King pub; my first experience was pretty good at the museum. The building, food and drink are somewhere between Wetherspoons and a family pub. I had an excellent Vegan burger and a few soft drinks with friends; I'll be back, likely with friends. One thing to mention is that it's an adult pub; this suits me but may not be good if you have children.
