In our opinion nice upgrade to the Norfolk but now with incredibly overpriced food and drink . Meal was nice but not gastro which is where it’s priced. On the upside nice and pleasant welcome with attentive staff as always.

Absolutely stonking home cooked food....we had the home made pie and chips, burger and chips and gammon and chips...All three was lovely,Would definitely recommend,The staff were very friendly, didn't have to move for drinks,Will be returning

Food was OK. Beer nice. Staff friendly and helpful but service was dreadful. No knives and we had to keep asking for things. Nails popping out of loose board on buffet counter. Pointed it out but nothing... No-one thinking and foreseeing

Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. We always enjoy our visits to the local. Well worth a visit to sample the home made cheesecake 🍰 excellent 3 course Christmas meal tonight with friends.

Seen as our Facebook review got deleted immediately... Here's our experience of the Norfolk arms!! After ordering a few drinks n four meals here was the garlic bread to OCCUPANY the lasagne!! He tasted it before he saw it... Absolutely disgusting!! Then when complaining and refusing to pay for the meal a young lady said she'd have to get someone more qualified to deal with it... But then returned to say we didn't have to pay for the food. When realising the manager didn't want to come apologise because infact he is the one cooking the food and walking around the pub drinking a CAN OF LAGER... we requested to speak to him... He then informed us he cooked the garlic bread himself FRESH..... YESTERDAY!!! And ours was the only one with mould on!! Absolutely disgusting would not advise anyone to eat here... Used to be nice before it changed hands.... Obviously way out of their depth!!! AVOID!!!!

Supporting small businesses then this is definitely one. A few mins from M1 in a quiet location. Friendly staff, the rooms annexed from the pub. Clean & new furniture & carpet with a comfortable bed & tasteful decor. Excellent food & catered for our son who is gluten free. Would definitely stay again.

Had an excellent lunch here today. Food was freshly cooked and good quality, doubt I've ever had a better steak pie. Emma, who took care of myself and my 92yr old mother-in-law was very helpful and went the extra mile to make our experience first class. Thankyou Emma x

Went for Sunday Carvery which was really tasty and nice which we were really pleased with.Unfortunately the praise stops there...We then ordered Bakewell tart and custard for our dessert. We were appalled by the state of the bowls that were presented to us. Each of the bowls had over 5 really big chips out of them and on tasting the dessert. The Bakewell tart was freezing like it had just come straight out of a fridge and the custard was cold. This resulted in us not eating it.I can't believe they sent this out like this my dog bowl, is in better condition then that. When I went to the bar to pay my bill I complained about the dessert on which the member of staff deducted the price of the

Possibly the worst meals I've had. £18 for a mixed grill. The chicken was like rubber. Totally inedible. The sausages were nice the steak and gammon were ok. Chips were nice. Missing the lamb chops. We told them about the chicken which we didn't eat at all because we couldn't even cut it, they didn't care with no money knocked off. Shocking service.
