Really enjoyed visiting this pub with my dogs, everyone was really friendly and there is a good choice of beer and cocktails.Food is available and a large choice of Vegan stuff.

·

Good atmosphere, but quite a lot of menu items were unavailable. Separate Vegan menu, but relying on items that 'looked like' meat or fish rather than some original cooking. Maybe OK just for a drink.

Came in to a little bit of a cold/rude welcome.Didn’t feel like me & my party of 3 was welcome in. It was a last minute Sunday meal.I had the staff immediately glaring at us from behind the bar, more like gawking to be Frank. The feeling I got was that one of that the staff wanted to finish early & ‘us’ coming in foiled that plan for them.We are told “it’s going to be a hour wait, you do know that?”, we are in agreement “that would be fine, we shall have a couple drinks whilst we wait.”Really felt when the front of house told us about the food waiting time that his tone of voice indicated to us, this tone was used to try put us off waiting”We Proceeded to order drinks.Orange juice was fresh (or seemed at least) ,I didn’t ask for ice. But they Put it in there anyway, as it was only ‘half a pint’ of juice, the amount of the ice density took around 40% of the glasses content space.Leaving me with a estimated 113ml of actual juice contents. Short lived orange juice eh?I ordered the ‘half chicken’, but was immediately told it would be replaced with a smaller portion of “nicer” chicken. The way the dude spoke sound like he was abit high or even ‘low’ to describe it better, this is the same dude as the guy who gave us a-bit of unwelcome vibe.Food was really decent for £13. Maybe 3 roast potatoes instead of 2 would have been a treat.Food Serving was 20 mins before the hour time they had stated Wich is good 😁!Nice bit of customer service from the woman who brought the card machine.Would have given a 3.4 but due to google reviews systems I cannot.Probs come back in the later future, maybe.

Great food and always a nice selection of beers. If you're a student, the pledge card gives you great offers and only costs £3 so you pay it back very quickly. Would avoid eating on a Friday evening as the music volume is just a bit too loud to have a proper conversation

·

Good cheesy music and good beers and cocktails. Got a table easily and quick service at the bar.

·

The sunday roast is great, the decor is great, and the staff are down to earth. The one problem is the way the pricing is done is confusing, even the staff said they hate how the pricing is done, so hope you did further maths at A level.

Went in the weekend before Christmas, DJ was playing great music that gets everyone dancing and providing a good atmosphere. The layout of the pub is a little weird. Downstairs toilets so not disabled friendly.

·

Very good food and cocktails. Tasty choice of vegan options too

·
