A very average Sunday lunch. It was cooked well enough, but for £11 I think just one slice of meat is pretty tight. The rest of the plate was all vegetables which would have cost a few pence to put together. There are other pubs in the area which serve up a much better meal which represent better value for money. I might pop in for a pint in the future but wouldn't bother with the food again.

It was our first visit to the peacock Inn on Xmas day and it was a terrible experience. The food was under cooked, small portion sizes and the food quality was cheap and nasty. The entire pub was sending there plate's of food back. The manager did give us a discount but still not worth a penny. We will not be visiting again.

Had a lovely meal today with friends. The food was great, I had the Classic Fish and Chip's which was delicious. Thick cut Chip's and the Fish was lovely. All our meals were well served and piping hot. The staff were very friendly. All together a very good lunch out ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We recently visited your local pub for a celebration meal. You were short staffed, and nothing flowed at all. Totally run on a shoe string. Hardly any beers on the pumps, and low stock of food on the menu. So overall not a great experience. If you want to get the locals in you really do need to get better organised as we'd have rather stayed at home.

Been for tea but thought menu was very poor. Food wasn't that good either, don't know if we picked wrong day but definitely won't be going back. Should have realised as nobody eating and it was 6pm so thought somebody would have been eating. Sorry as Staff lovely but nothing else.

The food here is brilliant - tasty and great value, and the drinks are a good price with a good selection. The staff are lovely and the quiz on Tuesdays is worth trying. Will definitely be returning!

At the end of an afternoon out we called by .... 3.40 pm ... Perfect timing ... Not busy, friendly and accommodating staff including bringing in our 2 little dogs with h a bowl of water and a biscuit. Our friend from the south couldn't believe we dined Inc 3 drinks for just over £25 ...

Lovely pub. Tables not too crowded. Manager really friendly and staff made you feel welcome. Food was plentiful and delicious
